What's with all this non-practical pointless changes?

Sorry but lately Mal started reminding me Microsoft and the Windows 8 no start panel thing that now have to bring back in Windows 10 because it was inconvenient as fuck not to have a start panel and they couldn't even get it that the people were used to it and it was practical.

Do you even think about practicality when you make changes?
Don't just change things for the sake of changing things.

So why is now the title of a thread under the links? Is not more practical. We already got used to it the other way and now it means i have to make bigger movement with my hand to get to those links because they are higher up the page.
That makes browsing the forums more tiring and annoying. Because i constantly have to make larger moves with my hand.

What with the panel choice disappearing completely and having to click the damn logo? That isn't more convenient. I had it right there saying "PANEL". It was nice and obvious. So why remove it and make me have to always remember that the logo up in the page can actually take me there and is not just the logo.

Also when you are in an anime page the "Add character" is in frond of the "more characters". That is just plain wrong. How many times to you want to check about a character and how many times to you want to add a character? It may be more convenient for the moderators who add characters and users who like doing that all the time but for the average users it's more inconvenient.
i can't even mentioned how many times i mistakenly clicked "add character" when trying to see the characters of a show.

Last that "episode information" link when we are in anime forums. First is broken since it doesn't show the episodes when is clicked, second i always end up clicking it hoping to actually go to episode details which shows that it would be better if it was an episode details link. Besides you can see the episode list threw there.

Recent changes are pointless and sometimes redundant

I think most of the recent changes to the website have been practical and/or serve some sort of greater purpose. Adapting to these changes may be difficult, but it'll get easier as time goes on--in the end, it's most likely all for the best.

Changing ''recent posts'' to the right, is super annoying. All of the changes so far, severed little to no purpose.

Far from pointless, I'd say. As I previously posted, you'll just have to get used to it; moving backwards is never an option.

They are moving backwards by implementing impractical changes, that don't add anything.

Don't tell me the "new forum feature" was sharing the respective Thread on Social Media...

They are not moving forwards if they make things less practical. They are moving backwards.
I gave explanations why things become less practical by this changes. I do not have a dislike to change it self, especially if it makes things even more practical. But this changes didn't. They are less practical.
And i'll hardly call changing the place were i have to click something as some revolutionary change that moves things forwards.
Is not some new feature or anything. It just makes my browsing harder.

I think every web and software designer in the world will have to learn two phrases.
"Don't fix it if it ain't broken"
and
"Keep it simple stupid".

Haven't really noticed, but I can hardly imagine it being anything else than something similar to this.

Your post is actually ironic since they moved backwards by making these shitty changes.

You will get used to it with time.
I'm sure they aren't making changes just for the sake of it, they must have a plan on how the site will be in the future.

I don't see any reason why the fuck they removed all of the forum links from the window that opens up when you press "find all" posts...

This is probably what I have the biggest problem with. It even looks uglier, even less practicality too.
