| Ophis-chan makes an appearance! She's so cute =3 The problem with ecchi and drama is that you can't be serious when there are boobs jiggling around. But holy shit, the nailed perfectly the transformation! It's as epic as I remember from reading the LN ;p Kaji Yuuki nailes every role that screaming is involved. The Asia scenes are very emotional, I somehow forgot I was watching DxD. Issei's got into Eren mode. OK, with this episode the show was saved for me. It regained it's 8/10 |

| How could they fuck up the culmination of the season >:((((( I was so much looking forward to the Chichiryuutei song saving Issei for his Juggernaut Drive and they skipped it. The studio has been given too much freedom this season - first they skipped the Rias x Sona rating game, then they quickly passed through the ability which the machine constraining Asia had, and now this - unforgivable. If this goes on, I'm dropping the anime and going just with the novels. With 2 novels per season I should currently be at season 10 anyway |

Not to mention that it's important for the future developments: i was talking about the character development for unlimited blade works, not this show, because in that forum in particular it's just a flame fest of adaptation purists every single week, but their gripes seem to be more justified than those being levied against DxD, with the obvious exception being the nerds that bitch because the song "Emiya" got played at the "wrong" time |

| Holy, this was one of the best episodes in this show so far. I think Vali is my favorite in this show now. Hopefully he gets more screen time in the future. |

The song was first composed and played during this incident iin the novels. | Ophis pretty cute <3 Damn Sirzechs obliterated that guy. Issei Juggernaut Drive transformation was epic although still incomplete. Didn't know Vali was on good terms with Issei. Wonder what was that black thing Ophis got from him. His arm at the end damn, think that happened before too but not as bad. Nice episode overall. |

I've seen truly shit adaptations and this one gets a passing grade. I doubt the Rating Game between Sona and Rias will happen seeing as Saji already has the Vritra Sacred gears implanted. |

Those vehemently against - ignore the good,"everything is ruined!" Those vehemently for - ignore the bad, "it's great! nothing is wrong!" and then those in the middle Myself? I'm more in the middle. There are things I thought were great, things I thought were bad, and some that were just kinda disappointing rather than outright bad. |

| Sirzechs is so badass. But you know who's more badass? Issei in Juggernaut Drive. He freakin' took down Shalba using Vali's and Gasper's powers. Damn, Vali not only saved Asia, but he also used Vanishing Dragon Balance Breaker and Juggernaut Drive to help Rias. Great Red appears. Vali and Orphis (or Ophis) set their goals straight. Dat fist bump. Oh no, what happened to Issei and/or Ddraig? (T_T) |

Todd_ said: A ferociously intense episode. I think it was sort of obvious that Asia was transported rather than just killed, because that beam of light didn't really look like the killing type to me. Issei's transformation was insane. It was a really emotional moment when Rias was trying to get him to calm down, he hit her more times than I thought he would. A dramatic, but great scene. I was actually kind of disappointed with Issei and Asia's reunion. Issei went bat shit crazy, farther than he ever has before and they hardly said two words to each other. That was probably the one flaw in this episode. I figured Issei would be exhausted after what had happened, but perhaps it's something more. I've never seen his arm mangled like that before. Not sure if they decided to make it more detailed, or if that has something to do with why he fainted. Excellent episode though. It just goes to show that DxD has just as much story as it does ecchi. 100% agree |

| Fucking. Awesome. Gotta give mad props to Draig this episode too. Once he started talking and people could hear him, he sounded like a badass. "Rias Gremory, if you don't want to die, leave this place immediately". and "Hey devil, you called yourself Shalba? You made the wrong choice". Like, boom shit's officially going down when Draig addresses the plebs. That chant was godly. Longinus masher looked fucking insane. Vali fighting him in JD mode was sick too. Was expecting Azazel to use his Fafnir again, but instead we got Sirzechs fucking obliterating some dude without even trying. Worth. He like deconstructed that dude on the atomic level. Great Red....is pretty big. Must be compensating for something. lol Ophis makes her official debut. Cant hate a loli who wears nothing but pasties with some goth loli accessories. Issei collapses, but the preview obviously showed that no matter what the issue is it gets healed right away. So they made Vali go JD in this fight because they wont put him in the final Loki fight. So does that mean they plan on adding the oppai song in the Loki fight since they took it out here? |
| Well I think we can agree it's the best episode of the season. (except Koneko fanservice moe episode of course :P) Sometimes I wonder if this anime is better without fanservice.... some of the great moments are disrupted by the fanservice and was kind of funny and out of the place. Although the fanservice adds some realism to the fight where your clothes would be torn up during that situation. Also I'm kind of confused with Khaos Brigade, so their objective is to fight the DxD, yet they're a terrorist group? Also he helped people like Asia and in the end saved the Rias Gremory Household. So is he really a terrorist? To me they seems like the nice guy treated to be the bad guy.... Also Diodora was pathetic... maybe he got sent to that weird Dimensional Gap, for him to die so easily is a shame, so maybe yeah he survived. That Shalba also killed way easily, although Juggernaut Drive seems to be quite good answer to why that happened. Even though I don't really like Asia, I like how Issei cared about her, protecting her and her dreams. Nice good episode. |

| Issei seeing Asia come back was seriously underwhelming as fuck. Most of the episodes was based off of Issei's rage/sadness to losing Asia and all Issei does is act surprised as if something, say, touched him suddenly? Other than that, the episode was alright, Issei's transformation was cool but that's mostly it, I wasn't too big on the tear-fest especially since it was obvious that Asia would be fine. |
