| You guys are forgetting that the author is Kagami Takaya, the same guy who did Densetu no Yuusha. I can't deny it's entirely fujo-bait but the dynamic is similar to Ryner-Shion and DenYuuDen did have some funny scenes about them in the anime though only one or two as far as I can remember. Besides.. (spoilers ahead) Need I say anymore? |

They had more than one or two "funny scenes", go rewatch it;P (lots of fuji-bait actually, and I'm saying this as a neutral person). Like I said, the author knows how to make money. He had no problems in making almost canon Ryner x Ferris: or heavily hinting Ryner x Sion too , at the same time!!! In Owari no Seraph we clearly know Yuu will settle for Shinoa (and probably Mika for Krul) but that wont stop the author from putting a lot of blushing, angst, tears and eternal devotion of Mikaela to Yuu and vice versa. Not to mention Ferid Bathory gropping Mika's ass in one later chapter. (which can be a dream to some fujoshi, but not to me because I loathe Ferid). Honestly? I dont care about ships in this manga. I only care about the plot and Mikaela Hyakuya which is a beautiful tragic character. BUT I gotta say this author deserves an applause and a cookie:D side note- I think sometimes male fans or bl haters forget that fujoshi are also able to ship straight pairings. We might have a tendency for BL pairings but nothing will stop us from shipping boy x girl too as long as we like the girl. Yeah sometimes fans see yaoi where there could never be, but I don't think this is the case. I thought that the humanized forms of the demons that reside within their weapons looked like pretty cute girls, but after some (light) research I found that at least Yuuchirou's demons was actually male.
