| Interesting question. I honestly think that the change in my life would be rather dramatic. I get the feeling that if I never signed up for MAL, my life would have gone pretty far south. I signed up for MAL in the pinacle of my depression, and I have no idea what I would have done without something to occupy myself with. What do you think? | I've met and befriended some interesting people here. Some of them have turned out to be very cool and insightful, and introduced me to things that have radically impacted my interests. That alone makes it worth it, in my opinion. It's not so much about MAL, but the people that I've met through it. This is why I use forums in the first place. It can be very rewarding, but you also dig through a lot of shit, regrettably. |

| This is the only forum I'm on. MAL has made me get more into anime. I most likely wouldn't be a regular watcher, and I have no idea what I would be using all this time for otherwise. Threw various chain reactions, MAL has introduced me to many different things. My life would definitely be different if it wasn't for MAL. I'm not sure if I should take that as a sign as to how dull my life is. |
