| It's all too obvious that the author knows something about what is going on. I have a pretty good idea of who she really is, but I think I'll avoid saying for now. In any case, it seems that Kaneki hasn't completely turned after all, making it all the more interesting to find out just why he joined Aogiri Tree. And that conversation between Hide and Touka was quite a good scene, and I can't help but think that the conversation about Kaneki being the lead in a play once will have more significance than what should be expected. And I'm guessing Suzuya's awesome-looking quinque came from Yamori? |

| So kaneki was a really good actor.. hmmm... i'll keep that in mind. It was yet again a mix of original content and canon. It looks like we'll get some huge information next week with the title Deeper Layers... So far i am enjoying this season |

| Not a bad episode. Considering this is going to be only 12 episodes though, the pacing seems unnecessarily slow. I thought the Naki scene with Kaneki teaching him how to write Yamori was a nice touch. |

| Best episode so far. This episode wasn't boring at all. So I don't get why people say that it was boring,etc, well I'm a Tokyo Ghoul fan so I don't really mind if they show lots of talk scenes.. Looking forward for the next episode. seriously, that ending was kinda of a cliffhanger. Also they will change the ending art in all the episodes? interesting! >.< |

| Awesome episode. People are going to complain it was too slow and nothing happened but whatever, just shows they don't understand the series. There's awesome fights scattered throughout TG but it's not a straight up shounen and people shouldn't treat it as such. Good to see they've kept Kaneki's sensitive side, the whole scene with Naki and writing Yamori's name for him was oddly endearing. He definitely reminds me more of Kaneki from the manga now. The whole scene with Takatsuki... Not gonna spoil anything in this thread but I was freaking out, lol. So well done. So the anime is definitely going alongside the manga up to this point, which is interesting. Honestly thought it would be more different at this point, not to say it's a bad thing they've kept a lot of the original story in. In fact if it wasn't for Kaneki going to Aogiri this season so far is a pretty faithful adaptation of the manga. But yeah, to any anime only watchers complaining about these early episodes being too slow, don't worry, this is all just set up to some big payoffs... |

| Hmm so that masked girl with the smile is the author of the book, interesting. I do not believe to have seen Kaneki do the chin gesture yet, but since Hide mentioned it, I am very suspicious now of him acting >-> I will make sure to look after it in every episode from now on. |
| You could say that the episode was boring but hided some "plot keys".First , the meeting Touka had with Nagachika brought the connection with Kaneki closer and the book Hinamy bought as a present , leaves spaces for discussion of a meeting between them.Second the event with Tsukiyama may be very important in the next episodes.The thing i consider filler is the "Yamori Boss" etc. |
