Wow Akiyama's trick is just like many have guessed. He was able to figure out the order thanks to the perfect rifle shuffles. Although its still incredible how he figured it out and how he quickly worked out the order of the cards after each shuffle. Its pretty damn hard to do it while the dealer was shuffling and at the same time he has to count the number of shuffles the dealer did too.

Now onto the final battle... Nao better not screw up.

Wow that was a nice explanation, didn't really occur to me at the time but just before he started explaining I saw the significance of the shuffle, although I had no idea it was perfect. Stationary roulette? Interesting, but I wonder how Nao will play ...

Good to see that Nao is still as dense as ever and needs explanations that span almost entire chapter. In world full of chaos at least some things remain constant. _-_

Akiyama is so brilliant! I thought for sure that Kikuchi's trick would win the game, now it's all down to Nao *gulp*

oh boy! Nao's turn! maybe she'll be able to convince her opponent and work her way out that way, but if she wins, I will gain some sort of respect for her.

Well Akiyama proves that yet again he is pretty amazing. He really pulled through in this one.

Wish someone other than Nao could be the "please explain everything to me" person. Doesn't exactly make you confident when going into her battle. I wish her the best of luck here. She has to hold the lead.

So next chapter will explain the game and we might actually get it started in 79.

I enjoyed this chapter, and I have to appreciate the writing in the series for thinking all of this through beforehand.

Noa is staying in character, so I don't mind her asking for the explanation... I don't play poker so I had very little idea of what was going on, but, the setups sounds like something which I would expect from Mathnet or something.

The fact that Akiyama predicted the place of the cards using math, and allowed his opponent to think that he was at a disadvantage whilst simultaneously removing the randomness (by cutting out the imperfect shuffles) was brilliant!

Looking forwards to the next game....

The method that Akiyama used to get the four Q's is legit.

I'm always torn about my feelings about Akiyama. In-universe he's an unparalleled genius. But sometimes he feels like an author self-insert and these explanations are just the author saying "look at this really complicated game I came up with". The best game was the airport one since Akiyama had an opponent and the back and forth between them showed on complex the game really was.

But yet I still have to give the author credit for coming up with all these games, loopholes and strategies included. I'd love to hear about how he came up with them all.

And I know that Nao is supposed to take the place of the reader during Akiyama's explanations, since I bet most of people reading this need to have them explained. Just when it seems she's starting to get smarter and pick up on things more, she's forced into going back to the reader insert character that needs things explained to her.
