| Yeah, I see it everywhere. It's just something that's distinct in Japan, probably helps set the tone of the scene. Just like how it's "better" so say "oh! It's snowing!" instead of just "it's winter" mentioning cicadas is more distinct than just saying "it's hot" or "it's summer". I watch a lot of SoL so I see it a lot but I don't mind it at all, and IMO actually helps add to the ambience. |
