| What do you guys think about using Illegal Streaming sites or torrenting anime ? Do you guys use Crunchhyroll, Funimation, Hulu ,Netflix or any other legal streaming sites that I'm not aware of. I use Crunhyroll since i don't have access to the Funimation and Hulu sities and Netflix has very limited choice anime where i live. I don't agree with illegal sites, but i did use illegal sites before i had a Crunchyroll account. And i buy anything that catches my eye and is released here. But with that said as a last resort if i can't watch it legally and can't buy it/ it's too damn expensive i will most likely Torrent it |

| If only the legal distribution was better in the west. Buying even slightly less mainstream or old anime is really fucking hard, at least here in Finland. And importing takes weeks. Crunchyroll is decent and I have the premium, but the amount of interesting shows they have is not nearly enough for me. |

| I try and be legitimate wherever I can as that is my policy with all forms of media but the anime industry doesn't make it easy. Japan needs to get over their fear of digital distribution, this is the 21st century, get with the times. |
| Imagine if there was one site that has EVERYTHING related to anime and manga. Everything would be available in crystal clear 720p quality for download or streaming. People all over the world would be able to access anything related to anime and manga with the click of a button. They could even implement a list system similiar to MAL and a lot of other good stuff. I would gladly pay a yearly/monthly fee for such services. Everything in one place. Make this happen Japan and I'll gladly pay for it. I'll never buy physical products related to anime or manga though. It has too much of a geek factor here, and I'm honestly not interested in cluttering my room with manga or anime related products. |

| Did a quick calculation on CD Japan for 3 episodes of Chihayafuru on Blu Ray... $60+ including shipping. Damnnnnn. And I would have to add subtitles into it if I wanted to actually watch it. So, my personal reason for not legally doing anything is because of inconvenience. Second reason is price. Also: I watch a fair amount of anime and honestly, I end up deleting most of what I watch in the end, so why purchase? |

I stopped using illegal sites only because streaming anime sucks, now I simply go to HorribleSubs' website or NyaaTorrents and download it at 720, then delete anything I don't plan on archiving. I don't really understand people who are anti-piracy. Information and entertainment should be free. |

The more effort I have to put into buying something the less likely I will do so. Hell I was buying like 2-3 games per year prior to digital distribution ala Steam and Co, now I buy like 50 of them. Just cause they are so easy to buy and so goddamn cheap. |
