| Did Saazbaum actually give Tharsis to Slaine or was he merely showing it to him? Because handing over such an important asset would be a pretty questionable move from someone who's been quite logical so far. Also, why would Slaine even hesitate in trying to reunite with the princess again? While he doesn't seem to hate or even dislike Saazbaum, it wouldn't be in character for him to join side with the guy who's planning to kill the princess after all the trouble he went through to protect her. By the way, the scene where the princess was thanking Inaho for saving her made me laugh pretty hard. He basically kept repeating:"because we're at war". |

I'm far from involved in the Inaho/Slaine slugfest some people have going on. I just think that this show could have been vastly improved on the dramatic front if they had given it's protagonist more of a chance to 'fail'. At this point I don't really see him as 'person' but more as a plot device. The savant child that outhinks and out-reacts everyone on the ship. It just get's old. It just gets boring. That's just my own irrelevant opinion which I know a lot of people don't share. I still think the show has a chance to remedy this if they give him some much needed background. Maybe his backstory will be able to successfully present why he's so overwhelmingly gifted. And the show will be all the better for it. |

Let me guess, Mahouka is the best thing evaaaa, right? There should be more to them than their abilities. Some form of weakness or struggle. It's just boring watching those characters if they effortlessly succeed at everything they touch. And stripping them of most of their emotions like seen with Inaho only makes matters worse. So I'd take an interesting, well-written "beta MC" over those boring shells, that are oh so alpha as fuck, any day. |

| It's really annoying how hard they are trying to make Inaho look cool. Magbaredge should've been doing the mouth-to-mouth, considering Inaho wasn't alone and Magbaredge SHOULD know how first aid works. I'm almost done with this show. |

Honestly this show is operating on the Hollywood principle of the best possible way to attract the biggest possible audience is to challenge people as little as possible while feeding them just enough shit to get hyped over. Its extremely mediocre as far as the genre goes and largely benefits from its target audience being to dumb as rocks and having too low standards to care. As long as there's hype and they keep playing that vocal BGM that's largely what matters at the end of the day. Aniplex has pretty much perfected that blockbuster formula with its offerings and its making their shows full of anticipation but ultimately unfulfilling tripe in terms of execution. What a bore the future of the anime landscape looks like with them calling pretty much all the shots and basically running the industry now. No other ideas even really get a chance to bbreathe anymore really. |

And the more I watch Saazbaum the more I wish that he won't be the final villian ( gladly he probably won't if there is a second season , lets hope he dies for real ) how much of a cliche does he intend to be ? a killed lover lol |

And we can have an interesting story for Yuki as well. Not to mention that if Inaho is really Saazbaum's son, he will give Saazbaum a reason to realize that everything he did is meaningless. Saazbaum can "redeem" himself and rest in peace. (I like Saazbaum so much now, I don't want him to die like other Martians). And I love to see that Star War scene happens. |

I stopped trying to think of Aldnoah in that way after the whole "they didn't know that colonizing another planet is hard" thing. And in this episode Saazbaum was talking about "cultivating his land".What land? I dunno, what do you try to grow on the open surface of Mars? Usually in sci-fi in such cases people try to construct special agricultural facilities or domes with appropriate conditions to live in. Versians even have enough energy to do it. | Rayets backstory is so full of shit. I thought she was human, I missed her being martian part in the first? episode, so when she said she is martian this episode she became even more foolish screamin "all martians" are the enemy. What a stupid little girl. |
| I already provided that Inaho save the princess, but the scene was very realistic, using up until the defibrillator, but still had the mouth-to-mouth, Inaho badass .. a little bit of drama in this episode too, I felt that everything was to prepare for the fights to come in the next episodes I'm very eager to know how will be the final part of this anime, that to me is already among the best of the year .. |
