I'm looking for a series of at least 10 episodes or more that uses lots of colors basically.
Examples:

-No Game No Life: Probably the best example. Colorful and vivid. Lots of saturation on everything
-Summer Wars: Not a series, but if it was it'd be a great match.
-Mekakucity Actors:Contrasts many colors with white or black backgrounds. Silhouettes with individual colors to enhance they're effect.
-Madoka Magica: More excellent colorful and vivid animation

Plot isn't really important. Just no SoL's. PREFERABLY post-2008 but i can make exceptions.

Ao Haru Ride
Kaichou wa Maid-sama
Tsuritama (you dropped it but there is a plot that comes later on. it's definitely colorful)

I was bored of it too, but there is a story that comes later on and it was quite engaging. You could try Cenceroll or Higashi no Eden if you liked the style of it.

Heheh.

For movies, tho, try Paprika.

The medicine seller works by Nakamura Kenji are remarkably illustrated and very colorful. Here's an example from the opening arc of Mononoke. I suggest watching "Bake Neko," the final arc of Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales, first though.

Nakamura also made Tsuritama, which you've discussed, and Gatchaman Crowds which uses a brightly colored palette.

Kill la Kill is another option.

I vote for Bakemonogatari for its design and use of color.

I'll make two other suggestions for series, both by Madhouse. One is Oh! Edo Rocket. It has some pretty off-beat designs and good use of color throughout.

The other is Chihayafuru which is often quite beautifully illustrated:

I forgot Kuuchuu was on my watching list. I'll have to pick that up again.
Kaiba is also going to be watched very soon.

Movies do generally look better. But I want something i can come back to.

You could try Star Driver, it's not great, but it's pretty colorful. It's a Mecha with a Monster of the Week kind of deal, and it goes all over the place, but it's fun enough.

Mawaru Penguindrum is pretty vivid, and it has amazing symbolic imagery to boot.
Other than that there's also Kyosougiga which is very damn right colorful and a unique storyline if you haven't watched it already. Not to mention, the music is just beautiful.
