| Chronicles is a great game, if your looking for an intruiging fantasy world the game is set on the corpses of two enormous giants, and has a fantastic art direction to it. Gameplay is pretty good though it's a lot like world of warcraft with auto attacking and waiting for skills to cooldown, the cool part is when you stop time and wail on a miniboss with your party and the music? well....It's downright awesome |

| I dont know about Xenoblade. It kinda looks too anime-esque to me. Sounds weird on an anime forum but I actually dont like games that are heavily anime-like. I also seem to remember the original Xenoblade having alot more nature in it, compared to that the new trailer only showed gray gray and gray. Other than that The Legen of Zelda looks great. A bit sad it didnt end up like this. Its still got the kind of shading and lightning wind waker has, wish it could have been a bit more grown up. Sure still cartoony but like in the early tech demo. Other than that Splatoon looks like it could be fun. Not sure what to think about allowing Mii's as playable characters. I like the characters in Super Smash Bros Brawl because they had a theme, they where characters I knew, and well had character to them. The Ameeboo think also seems a bit ehh. |

| @Baki I suppose that means you didn't see the other teasers for Chronicles X then? because one of them has the party running around an enormous grassy field with rivers streams and mountains to boot, so it wont all be metal n stuff Also I like the Mii fighter thing I dig the idea of making goofy looking Miis and then wrecking goons with it |

Might be getting it if Im getting a Wii U, altough I still dont know if I am a fan of the combat. I like action based combat more, WoW style is really boring, altough Xenoblade seems to have a bit of a twist to it from what Ive seen in videos. Yeah I know I just think they lack character. Most SSBB Characters have a sort of theme to them and the attacks reflect that. Like Squirtle having water attacks, Pit using his bow and flying and so on. Its just that Mii characters have idk, they dont have a theme to them, no backstory nothing. |

I'm not paying full price for that lol. I guess any kind of hype is bigger than zero. I have no interest in Battlefield Hardline at all,but Ill keep the new Cod on my radar, maybe Ill get this one. But Ive been saying that for every Cod and I never bought one. In the end CoD never seems interesting enough. Yeah Nintendo as always delivers the interesting gameplay. I think its a shame that so many people also on the stream just labeled their games as kids games. Bayonetta 2 also looks great. Is the WII U downwards compatible? I might play Bayonetta 1 if it is. |

I know rite, we need more mature adult games. No fun allowed, need my blood and ultra violence. Shame that most people think like that. About Bayonetta, I think it's included with Bayonetta 2. So you get to replay Bayonetta 1 with Link and Peach costumes. |

You can be sure they are all edgy teenagers that like only their shooty-shooty first person shooters that go around shooting stuff and think they are so mature. I've been listening to some Chrono Trigger music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVif7tugqJ0 and I'm in the mood for a unique fantasy world. I just checked out more info on X and it looks like it'll shape up to be fantastic! Tetsuya Takahashi has quite the resume! Plus Hiroyuki Sawano's doing the music. Good stuff but idk if I'm going to get a Wii U just for this. Is there a way to rent consoles like you rent games? Also, I guess I answered my own question. Takahashi is the guy behind Xenoblade Chronicles so it looks like it's right up my alley. :) All Takahashi's games are masterpieces, you can go into them already expecting to see some of the best stuff you've ever witnessed. The plot of Xenoblade is inferior (but still amazing) to Xenosaga and Xenogears, but the gameplay tops them easily, the combat system is very creative and the maps are full of fun quests and exploration, also added with the epic scenarios and music. Oh, but the best soundtrack is Xenosaga's, because Yuki Kajiura. |

| Just watched Microsoft's conference and I have to say: better than I thought. Obviously way better than the shit they were presenting last year's E3. Wasn't really interested in most of the games they were showing (HEY GUIZE HALO IS TEH BESTEST LEL), save for some smaller titles they were showing. They had more consistency with showcasing games than Sony did (not to mention shorter). Overall, it was good. I only favor Sony because they had some more exciting games for me personally. Glad they got rid of most of the bullshit, which Ubisoft is intent on keeping. EA. Oh, EA. EA, EA, EA. Sunset Overdrive looks interesting, and Witcher 3 is fucking amazing. Last but not least, I'll go check out Nintendo's in a few hours. With the reception in this thread, seems like they did good, yeah? baki502 said: ZetaZaku said: >Other than that Splatoon looks like it could be fun. CoD is one of those games I'm not really blown away or anything, but I wouldn't mind playing it. Not because it's so much fun or amazing; it's just...there. Why not, you know? It's also a shame Nintendo has been viewed as "for kids." I never viewed Pokemon as that way, nor any games I have ever played. Maybe games I'm into that could be appealing to kids as well, but, idk. Bayonetta 2 bundled with Bayonetta 1!? Goddamnit, Nintendo. Fuck you. |

| I think Nintendo had the strongest presence and announcements this year. Unfortunately, they're mostly all for 2015. Despite the fact that I'm obsessed with Smash Bros., I think I'll still wait 'til next year to pick up a Wii U. I'm just not ready to cross over into the current generation. Since FFXV/KHIII aren't coming out this year, looks like I don't have to get a PS4 this year, either! Woo. My wallet thanks me. |

| Gameplay for Hyrule Warriors. It's pretty much Dynasty Warriors with a Zelda skin. Do I mind that? Fucking no, I'm buying a Wii U as soon as I find a used one. Which is kinda funny since nobody bought a Wii U and stuff haha. Dynasty Warriors is one of my favorite game series, and I loved Gundam and Hokuto no Ken spin offs a lot. Zelda is pretty hype for me. And fucking hope they add Link and Zelda as character exclusives for the Wii U version of potential Warriors Orochi 4. |

ZetaZaku said: It definitely looks better when it's cel-shading, than more realistic CGI. Anime CGI like Tales of Vesperia for example looks better than Final Fantasy CGI. Just checked it and youre right and I think its because its still aiming for a 2d look. Still looks sorta flat. IMO its the added 3rd dimension that makes anime characters simply look weird and shit. Its also the reason I absolutely hate figurines. In my opinion they just look shit, dont work in the 3rd dimension. I guess when the 3rd dimension is added, you become more aware of depth, proportions and size and thats when your brain probably cant ignore how inproportionate and disfigured anime characters actually are compared to actual humans. At least it would be my guess why I cant stand them in 3D. |

On another note, I take back what I said about DS2's final boss being too easy without purpose, Vaati's video made things somewhat clearer and there's a bit of intricacy to it after all the way I see it. |

| Well Im liking it, but I am a bit dissapointed that the zombie/undead is still the standard enemy. Especially in DS2 way to overused and Ill be honest I dont like zombies/undead. I think they are unimaginitive and boring, but atleast they made sense in DS. Loosing your humanity > becoming hollow/undead. But I wish they would have had something else in Bloodborne. Im also not blown away by the graphics they are decent tough, so that gives me hope that we do get 60 fps. Dont want better graphics just more frames. Then I might get over it that I cant play it on my trusty PC :(. |

He is pretty damn slow which makes him rather easy even in the beginning, as long as you got patience. The armored boar which you have to face quite early on is way harder. I finished him off by "glitching" him, Dark Souls 1 had very rigid action borders where the enemies stopped following you and I just kept shooting arrows at his ass from outside that border.... |

It is relatively easy, but its a bit harder to learn then rolling. Took me quite some time to get it right and even then I often failed it but I still had a high success rate with it. In DS2 they changed it and I like it now parrying is alot harder. Im starting to get the hang of it a bit, but its still alot harder since you cant just react to an attack and parry, you have to predict it now. |
