| Death Note actually have the potential to succeed in Hollywood, and not like Dragonball (since most of the stuff happened in speeches and it was mostly a psychological factor, the only problem is making the Shinigami though). But something tell me they are going to aim for the horror theme more than the intellectual battles that happens between Light & L. And L would undoubtedly look freaky (thus there couldn't be any perfect adaptations), and if he didn't, fanboys/girls will whine like fug. I'm putting my hopes up, but something tells me these directors are too obnoxious to listen for advice, especially from the actual writer. |

| Meh, it was bound to happen. Most of the anime that's well known in the states is slated for an adaptation, although whether or not they'll actually be released is a different story. I honestly wouldn't mind if Efron played Light, as long as he didn't sing it. But then again, DN the Musical would be pretty damned awesome... |
