| I thought Ciel lost his memory for a moment but thank goodness he's just scared, I don't want an arc of memory loss (*sigh* season 2 ). Worried Sebi <3 Ciel's past, almost cries :( maybe fin is one of those kids? doesn't make sense but who knows. |

| Woah. Poor Ciel. His past is something really disturbing :( It was sad to see him reject Sebastian like that. Worried Sebastian was nice to see. Can't wait to see what Sullivan will want from Sebastian and whether she'll find out his true identity. After I saw her reaction to his Seal on the hand, it seems she has some doubts now. |

It is something horrible. Yes, it was, and the worried Sebastian is always nice to see. I especially loved how frantic he seemed, and when he got in the pot with Ciel.. I think she knows, to a degree. She may believe him to be in contract to a demon or she knows he is one. So he's just really frightened right now. No. Sebastian said that Ciel is only rejecting adults right now, and since Finnian isn't an adult, yet, Ciel doesn't mind him. As for whom the other kid was, you have three options. Ciel could have created an imaginary friend, another personality if you will, anyone in a traumatic incident will do that to cope. Or, he befriended another kid there, or a young servant was captured with him. TT It's not the first time we've seen him worried, but it is always nice to see. Especially a protective Sebby. It could be an imaginary figment from where Ciel was trying to cope with the situation, or it could be a kid he befriend, or a young servant from his household that was captured along with him. If it was a real person, you'd be right. They'd be dead by now since Sebby killed everyone there. Arya-Stark said: GUYS, I THINK CIEL IS NOT THE REAL CIEL !!! OMG I've got too many feelings in my head!! what if the real Ciel died on the altar ? look at chapter 62, Sebastian calls him a "liar" !!!! Oh gods not this rumor again... *sigh* Alright, calm down and think for a moment. First, look between the two, you'll notice some differences between the person on the table and Ciel (Yana does draw some characters alike, so I can understand the confusion). Secondly, the reason Sebastian laughed and said "You seem to be quite the liar," was because Ciel was making an oath to not lose the game that Sebastian knows he won't necessarily keep. (For he will lose when Sebastian claims his reward.) Now, we come to this chapter. Remember now, Sullivan just said that the Wolf's miasma causes fear to heighten in it's victims. Ciel was in a traumatic experience, and it is understandable that children in those types of situations will talk a bit in third person. It is also possible that Ciel may have created another personality in order to cope with the situation.. But there aren't two Ciels. There is only one. There is more evidence to disprove this like Ciel's asthma and his memories of when he was younger (something an imposter wouldn't have).. But I'm too tried to really bring any of those up. I just got over a nasty stomach bug. |

| Shirtless Sebastian was NICE! Anyways, I still think Wolfram is the werewolf and I think Sebastian knows when he said, "I just wanted to see what kind of person it was." Ciel is really pitiful right now. He's blind, and terrified of all adults. But, Snake's not an adult, is he? And the Green Witch isn't an adult either, so she should be able to get close enough to treat him. Sebastian as the Green Witch's butler? She seems to be quite interested in things of a sexual nature, so she'll probably demand Sebastian take her virginity and do pervy things to her on a nightly basis. |

| I was surprised that they brought Ciel's past back into the spotlight. I hope that this bring some further development of the underlying plot of this story. I'm also hoping for some laughs in the coming chapters, perhaps she will ask for a threesome again? 😉 |
| There was defiantly a lot to take in this chapter. Ciel rejecting Sebastian was interesting but I don't blame him considering the fact that he is an "adult" like discussed in the manga but don't forget he is also a demon! The way Ciel clings to Finny is another interesting point. Perhaps Ciel believes Finny to be the person he was locked away with in the flashback. It's clear Ciel and that character were close or something of the sort. And now he's blind? The story can literally go anywhere now. Who knows what's going to happen! I can't wait for the next chapter! |
| So many new takes! I mean, first you have Ciel's newly discovered memories and his lost eye sight, and then you have Sebastian. I've never liked Sebastian though (he is a wonderfully well executed character and all, but I guess you can't like everyone...) so I hope she knocks him down from his high horses! If he even is able to accept her offer - I mean, there is a small possibility that he'll break the loyalty promise to Ciel by doing that... And Ciel! I do agree that there are a lot of different possibilities here. Is he even really Ciel, or just an imposter? I mean, he could be one, they could have shared their pasts in those cages and then been driven insane. Imaginary friends are also an alternative, but it's very interesting that he starts to refer to himself as "Ciel" rather than "I"... Gosh, I can't wait for the next chapter! |

It's not an imposter, scroll up I explained it there. An imposter wouldn't have Ciel's memories. Driven insane or not, they still wouldn't be able to have the memories we have seen from Ciel. So no, not an imposter. It's more Yana being inconsistent with the her story. It's not the first time, in one chapter she had Sebastian's mark on his other hand, and in the first few arcs Ciel has a tv. Ciel's past is just another thing she doesn't seem to keep her facts straight about. In the first chapters we see of Ciel's past he was stabbed, in the ship arc he was shown to be in a cage, and in this chapter it was back to the stabbing. So basically, it's just Yana trying to straighten out her facts, and plot, which clashes with what she already has. (She does apologies for it though. Quite the apologetic person.) Also, if you look at the arm, and at Ciel's arm you'll notice that the other person's arm is longer than Ciel's, and doesn't have sleeves like Ciel does. Now as for why Ciel is referring to himself in third person, what traumatized child doesn't do that from time to time? You got to remember, the wolf's miasma has heightened Ciel's fear, and Ciel being trapped in darkness, for the time being, is acting a bit like a caged animal. If I was in Ciel's position I, too, would refer to myself in third person. It's the fear, nothing more. |

| On Black butler.net there's the 'two ciels' theory, there are different versions of it and I definitely think one of them is true cause there are two kids, one in the cage and one on the table, something is up. http://forums.blackbutler.net/showthread.php?3122-The-Two-Ciels-Theory |

| It was sad/nice to see Ciel's flashbacks again and I hope we get more info on his past in the upcoming chapters! Concerned Sebastian was lovely to see again as well, but I'm a little nervous for him to become the Green Witch's butler! That little girl is probably gonna ask for some lewd stuff and I will be very upset if any such acts occur. I doubt Yana would do anything too explicit, but we shall see. Anything can happen at this point ~ |

Edit: There is no twin either, I just remembered that Madam Red was in the room when Ciel was born. No twin. Lol, thankfully Yana doesn't seem fond of shojo. She's a yaoi fan through and through (Rust Blaster was Shounen-ai, Glamorous Lips was yaoi, and the one she called Hana Shounen is also Yaoi.). Kuroshitsuji was, originally, suppose to have been yaoi, but her publishers didn't believe it would sell well so she cut it out (but she provides us hints). I don't believe Sebby will do anything, but that doesn't prevent Sullivan from teasing. Personally, I think she's just going to ask for sweets all the time (she seems to have a sweet tooth), but I do get the sense she's up to something. |

Anyways there was a quite a bit of fanservice this chapter. I too think Wolfram is the werewolf. I mean, his name is WOLFram! and he has mini fangs too, just like a canine creature. Along with the fact that it takes him forever to get things done(sneaking out?), it's definitely a theory of mine. And perhaps he can't control his werewolf side, hence "I don't want anyone to get hurt" or whatever it was that he said to sebastian. I would say snake's an adult, look how tall he is! and he's wearing adult clothes for the time. Not to mention, he used to be in the circus, which was run by that twisted old man. I am definitely thinking she's gonna make him dress her and stuff like that. Speaking of, does she have one of the women in the town as a maid to wash and dress her? It always seems wolfram is around, but if I have my facts straight, ladies back then had maids for their personal things and maybe a butler for non intimate things. Of course, the fact that it's a matriarchal society she's in probably changes things, but still. wow, what a great chapter. I didn't think I'd end up liking this arc that much, but it's been fantastic! anyone know what Sullivan said when she was purifying them? I reconized Baal, which was the pagan god of wealth and good reaping. |

| Oh, intense chapter! I like how undefeatable Sebastian is rather desperate right now, and Ciel is blind and rather broken. Can't wait for the reveal of Ciel's past too. I see where the double Ciel theory comes from now. XD |
