| I'm pretty happy to see a wizard version of Ace Attorney on TV. Everything was great. This will be one of the best from this season along with Noragami. I see one jealous newbie there though (the one who joined the same time as Cecil). |
| Nice episode. The whole lawyer part of the series is pretty interesting and the action is good. I'm liking this series so far. Cecil was pretty damn cool with that diaboloid thing at the end. |
| Having now caught most shows this season, I have to say this is one of the more promising first episodes. I really liked it. "Turn yourself in and I'll defend you!" LOL |

But there is few seiyuu which I like: Suwabe Junichi, Ono Daisuke... and few others... Story looks kinda cool, also really like music... :D Surely I will check out second episode :) |
| I honestly didn't expect too much from this but it surprised me quite a bit. Cecile also didn't turn out to be a dumb and clumsy girl as I had expected from seeing the PV. And dat frog!! |

| Wow that beginning was intense and the artwork and animation is top notch, might be the best for this season. This is like a magic version of Ghost In The Shell. Also lol @ that frog. |

| Oh Wakamoto, why are you almost only in shitty series... It looks obnoxious, especially character design is hard to look at. Premise is fine but execution is terrible. Overall first impression is really bad. I highly doubt I'll give it even one more try. |

| Now that's how you do a competent urban fantasy with crime-elements, take notes Hamatora! The character interactions and dialogue felt natural and there were hardly any *gasp* fanservice (considering the animation studio) or anime-specific tropes. They crammed a lot of content in one episode yet it didn't feel rushed and at the end we got a good overview of the cast including the protagonist's work place and family background and even some neat world-building entirely without any obnoxious exposition. Lots of hints where the story could go with the potential rivalry with the other recently hired co-worker, Cecil's mother in jail and sketchy organizations lurking in the background. I'm pleasantly surprised about the complexity of it all with so many plot threads going on at the same time. There's to hope the producers didn't bite off more than they can chew. Anyway, if this is the property Yasuomi Umetsu had his main-focus on then I will gladly forgive that clusterfuck that was Galilei Donna since he obviously had more important business to handle. It was already obvious from the promo material that ARMS recruited some top animators for this show producing action scenes that blow the rest of the anime airing this season out of the water, even perhaps Space Dandy if it weren't for some clunkily inserted CG bits. Who would have guessed but this was easily my favourite first episode of this season with the amount of potential it showcased. |

| So the police have an attitude of "magic crime, so find a magician and they must be guilty". Seems like this butterfly group don't exactly do well at stopping this. Then again Cecil's work colleagues also suffer from a bias - in favour of her and against the other newcomer. Looks like this could be a very good series indeed. |

| That was quite an exciting episode! So much explosions in the first few minutes. The OP was really intense too, seeing the variety of magic from different characters. The animation looks great so far, as well as the story. The intro episode did some nice work on world building as well. Looking forward to what else this anime has to offer! |

| This could go the way of Galliei Donna (considering they have the same director) and become a complete clusterfuck. I'm very disappointed at how rushed it was, it's like they couldn't wait until Cecil revealed her power to end the episode. The action animation and CG is great but the character designs for the females such as faces are pretty awkward to watch considering how much I like the male ones. Despite the massive potential and original premise it isn't shaping up to be more than a let-down. |

Japan is also one of the few democracies which still make use of capital punishment and interestingly one of the first scenes in this episode showed the execution of a criminal sentenced to death. | Realistic proportions. All the girls' heads are too wide on bottom and too narrow and top. Also too circular. It's an interesting artstyle, I haven't seen it before. The animation is great though. This was an interesting first episode. It could turn out good. |

| incredibly high production quality. cgi is not amazing but better than the usual stuff. character design is fine its one of those styles you either like or hate. frog is funny but overall i was hoping for a more serious tone too much of the episode was filled with cutsie newbie. would have loved it if the series was about the inspector duo still very good definitely gonna continue to watch it |

| This is pretty interesting so far with the magic plus law concept and the animation + ost were good, I'm not too sure how this will go so far, but since this is from the guy who did Mezzo and Kite, I'm hoping this will be good. |

| This reminds me of Messo Forte especially the art and character style. As for the episode i didn't like it i thought the action was over the top and the characters where stereo type. The main character was too optimistic and a know it all, then ending also suggested she is yet another overpowered character. I expected something entirely different and personally it's not my type of anime. |
