They animated the scene with Tabane in the restaurant, but that was one of the last scenes in Volume 8. There's no words on when Volume 9 will be released. A season should be at least 3 volumes long, so IF there is a third season, we're going to be waiting a long time for it. |

| Despite the how much weaker season 2 was, there is as much a chance for season 3 as there are for death and tax, as in its guaranteed. The sales are ridiculously high, especially for this type of show, and even with a messy row between author and publisher the LNs are selling very well. So in short season 3 is not if but when. |

| Well the third season threshold is always a tough obstacle to get around, but with the sales it is receives I would say 90% it gets a 3rd season. Personally I don't care if it takes three years to get it out...just don't make it like season 2. |

Sadly (this time it's true) the second season didn't deliver any better than the first. To me it managed to get much worse. But as stated above... Sales decide another season. So seeing as how well they did, another season may very well be likely. |

| Felt this anime was pretty horrible, hell at least I was able to watch the first season without asking myself how much time before the episode was over on multiple occasions. Still tits sell so an S3 getting green lit wouldn't surprise me. |

| Look I appreciate those of you who were disappointed, I also thought it was a big drop in terms of quality. But at the same time I still like the franchise and would have no problem with another season. If you do have a problem with a 3rd season, then just move on. If season 3 is announced, ignore it and watch something else. This is not a thread for you to whine about how much you didn't like it, its a thread asking what are the chances of a third season. And as has been stated, they are extremely high. http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=685955 Here are sales numbers for the sales of the first volume. It beat High School Dxd by almost 10,000, and High school was the second highest selling show of that week. Counting DVD sales Vol. 1 easily broke 20,000 units. Actually if you look at later charts the blu rays alone broke 20,000 sales, adding another 5,000 or so from dvd sales has total sales over 25,000. And for comparison, IS vol. 1 sold more but not too much more, sales were 22,000 on blu ray in its first week. Figure in another maybe another 5 k for the next 2 weeks, and its sales figures on blu ray are somewhere around 27 K versus 20 K for season 2. Sure its a drop, but not half as some else suggested. Also given that a show needs to avg. around 5-6K per volume, IS 2 could basically sell next to nothing over vol. 2-6 and still hit that mark. So in short the likelihood of another season is really high. |

You are correct that the OVA will be the last episode (for a long time at least) but it has nothing to do with the show "killing itself." It will be the last episode because they will have caught up to the light novels. For another season, we'll have to wait for a minimum of Volumes 9, 10, & 11 to be released. Considering that Yumizuru's writing pace has slowed to a crawl (it's been 9 months since Volume 8 and no news of 9) that will be several years at least. |

| Probably in a few years. But man, the fall off of the second season was atrocious. S1 wasnt exactly high art (What harem anime is?) but it was watchable and enjoyable. S2 was pretty bad. |

| All in all, I enjoyed IS 2. While I can agree that there were some moments during some episodes where I was just like "WTF? Why is this here?", I can't say that I thought the season was as horrible as I've been seeing posted everywhere. It seems the two things I see the most negative feedback about is the plot and the fanservice, apparently most say it has no plot and way too much fanservice. Now, while it doesn't have the complex, multi-layered plot of some anime, it had the basic fundamentals of a plot down. As for the fanservice, I can't really say I've ever seen "too much" fanservice. Though, unless there is already an uncensored version I've missed, I thought it was rather lacking in the fanservice department. But, I digress, IS 2 was a good anime overall. And it's one of the best selling franchises of the fall season, so there must be an audience that agrees with me. So, here's to hoping for season 3! |

| As tends to be the norm with me, I'm once again finding myself in a minority, it seems. While the Charl x Laura wasn't aweful, my favorite character interaction was Ichicka x Tatenashi. In season one my favorite interaction was Ichicka x Houki, but those two seemed underplayed/underused in this season. Tatenashi made up for it though, I loved her in this season. I would hope that her interaction with Ichicka doesn't get put on the back burner, like what happened with Ichicka x Houki this season, if there is a season 3. Oh, and, for the love of all that is fun to watch, get rid of Cecilia! I cannot stand that idiot. The only time I found any enjoyment from her screen time was the cooking episode when she giving them all food poisoning with her ridiculous lack of understanding of what is and is not edible. Perfume? Really? LOL |

| Considering it's a harem anime I don't really see any of the main girls dying, so I can't say that I see Charl x Laura as death fodder. However, considering they've been reduced to the yuri gags, they probably won't be doing anything noteworthy, like ever. Cecilia is indeed dead weight, in my opinion, but once again, we probably won't see any of the harem girls die. But, if any of them do, please let it be Cecilia first! |

| Maybe we should invent a term for Charl x Laura, death fodder kind of works but they probably won't die, and to keep a sinking ship afloat is a bit of a mouthful. Maybe, "Fandom Fodder"? Fodder for the adoring fans of their yuri-ness. I loved Charl in the first season, she was one of my favorite characters, but something about the way she was drawn, acted, and even talked seemed too different to be the same Charl. Laura didn't really seem much different, other than her whole presence being turned into a wasted gag. Giving those two the yuri gags is probably the only way they could work them into this season because of the new characters and what little plotline there was. So, yeah, maybe "Fandom Fodder", that may work. |

| I enjoyed the series, and especially enjoyed the interaction with Henrietta. If I didn't love Louise so much I would have preferred he end up with Henrietta. So, we have Charl x Laura as Fandom Fodder, and Cecilia as dead weight. I just hope, if there is another season, that they don't try and add too many more girls to the harem. I don't want to see Houki get pushed back anymore than she has, because if he ever chose just one it would have to be her. And, I really don't want to see Tatenashi get thrown into Fandom Fodder or dead weight because I really love her interaction with him. Her sister is alright, they had some cute interaction when he was teaming up with her, but I wouldn't mind so much if she went into the Fandom Fodder category. Ling is another character I'm not overly fond of, she wasn't bad in season one but she just seemed pointless in season two. |

| It, for some reason, sold like mad in Japan. It was one of the best sellers of it's season, fall I think. Given, it wasn't as good as season one, but it was still decent for a harem series. There's still a chance for another season, but probably won't be anytime soon if there is. |

| Vol 2 has done 12,000 on blu ray and another couple of thousand on dvd. For some reason Dxd is only around 7,000 blu ray despite being a much better harem with better art, so go figure. |

IS2 sales however have roughly halved. |
