Ladies and Gentlemen, we've seen it all by now. From Yolo, to Swag, to Gangam Style, Planking, Twerking, Memes, Trolls, Vines, tumblr, the Harlem Shake, and many, many more.
But rest assured, We've yet to see plenty more Bizzare, and in some rare-case scenarios, intriguing Trends.

With majority being quite Bothersome, and a lone few staying quite intriguing, i'd like to know which Trends all of you found most annoying, and why ?

Or, why some turned out to be quite fascinating and entertaining.

I for one enjoyed and still do enjoy a little Tumblr or some Ifunny here and there on my Iphone.

What about you?
Theres so many trends that are/were popular. Which ones did you enjoy or despise and why?

I don't like YOLO/SWAG when used non-ironically, but I like it more than most because used in the right situations (and in the right way) it can be funny.

Trolling is not a trend, it will never go away, until the time where it's impossible to be anonymous.

I haven't really hated too many trends because I've not over-exposed myself to them where I can help it, I can easily ignore stuff that I don't want to see, however Harlem Shake videos were just... they got old so ridiculously fast.

My friend, Sierra and I say "#YoloSwag2012" as a joke, to make fun of people who actually say YOLO in a serious way.
The most annoying trend, to me, is probably twerking, This picture should do justice http://media.heavy.com/media/2013/06/m4.gif
Girls who can't do it try to, and it just doesn't work. I can't do it, and I don't try to.

Probably the least annoying out of those are memes, and even those get annoying after awhile.
I do enjoy iFunny, Tumblr, Vine, and I used to like Twitter but then I forgot my password, though it was kind of boring anyway.
Edit: I'm addicted to YouTube and watch about 30 youtubers every night before I go to sleep. So that's kind of a trend.

Most youtubers are starting to do gaming videos, copy viral videos, or making parodies which is annoying me.

The trend I like the most is that the Oakland A's (American baseball team for you filthy casuals) are starting to win more often.

By trolls i was reffering to the troll faces lol.

The Harlem shake was quite annoying indeed. I found it hard for myself to watch through an entire video of a harlem shake.

I despise some Twitter quote accounts that say 'RT if you will do anything for a McDonald's fries', 'Passes by McDonald's *posts a picture of a crying Miley Cyrus*'

I mean.. I don't understand why people (mostly girls) go crazy over McDonald's, I don't know.. It annoys me a lot. They're food have lots of preservatives, I'm sure of that.

I couldn't care much less about swag, I'd just let them be and let them regret it because I admit that I was a part of them. (Hazukashii desu..)

The one I hated the most was when these kids would go into a grocery store and just smash/throw milk gallons all over the place. That pissed me off.
Probably cause milk is my favorite drink.

Im a Devil's advocate. Its just too fun.

This.
Also, I enjoyed Harlem Shake for the first couple of days...but that got old insanely quick.
I absolutely hate 'twerking' unless done ironically, of course.

I despise the trend on MAL of necroing threads.
I despise the trend on MAL of creating threads about religion or the lack thereof.
It makes arguments and makes people angry.

Actual Response:
YOLO and SWAG are pretty annoying when used unironically. People need to understand that YOLO is usually a terrible reason to do something.
And SWAG?
Because reasons.

Tumblr is still cool though. It really is a fun site to use, and I hope more people start using it and it becomes more than just a trend.

I think Kony 2012 really annoyed me tho
e: not so much the video about some guy no one cares about but rather the imperialist sentiment that was packaged with the video

These idiotic trends with Harlem Shake, Twerking, Yolo/swag, Milk Gallon throwing etc.

I guess people are mad at "trolls" because they can't counter one. "Trolling" will never go away, it's one of the things that makes the Internet.

Trends fade but Style is forever.

I actually miss people saying "Carpe Diem" now because of all this YOLO BS nowadays.

It's hard to not like lolis, their cuteness pander to the same emotions that naturally makes us fathers.

But it's hard to get off to anything that doesn't have any adult women characteristics like large tits, ass, and thighs.

I'm not good at keeping up. Society will keep on finding the next dumb thing, but I don't pay much attention. Only one I dislike is twerking. If a girl doesn't know how to shake her a** don't do it!

She must first have a plentiful backside to even attempt it successfully. She can shake it all she wants but if she don't got booty, its not gonna look good and will look stupid in the process. The same goes for chicks who have no ass and decide to wear yoga pants, its ok if they're actually doing yoga with them but beyond that, its not appealing to the eye.

....unless we start a new niche for flat butts!!!!!!!! Like the Pettanko but flat-assed and the people who love them!!! I smell a Business Venture in the making!!! xD

tumblr isn't a trend in itself. Though being a member of it for 3 years made me live through some pretty damn annoying trends and to be honest, I think most of the ones it came up with were pretty stupid, so I'm just gonna leave my answer as 'almost every tumblr trend'.
Though I think calling people 'peasants' takes the cake. Especially since it is an actual insult in my country, and whenever I try to explain to people they're like 'oh hahahhahah that's so tumblr'. Just no.

I still find vines pretty funny btw They're getting a bit old now but how can random 7 second long nonsense not be at least a tiny bit funny
