| This episode had so much manservice isn't even funny. However Rei sinking in the pool after haru tried teaching him the first time and all their eyes went blank made me laugh so hard I fell out of my chair. |

| After Rin and Haru's conversation I felt like Rin is not an absolutely "bad" character. Hmm, maybe his true personality will be revealed later.. PS: Kou/Gou is awesome <3 |
| To be honest, when I started watching this series I thought "This is going to have so much fanservice it's going to be annoying and I'm sure I won't enjoy it"... oh boy, I was wrong. I laughed the whole episode and every character is actually really likeable ;-; |

| Laughing at everyone who honestly expected this to be a sports anime and complaining about the fan service. If you were expecting the swimming version of 'Hajime no Ippo,' you obviously haven't been watching anime long enough. |

| Great episode, to see Rei struggle to learn to swim sure was a nice twist to the show, and they're doing really well to work on his struggle to learn to be "Free" like Haru in the water! The swimsuit change part was hilarious, all the different yet weird types of swimsuits. The butterfly one sure fit Rei, and by the looks of it, I guess that style will be his strongest swimming style. Rin isn't as bad as I first thought he would be, and it will be interesting to see where this goes from here after the talk with Haru, dem vibes. And the OST for this show is really good, can't wait for it!  Also another note, to see Kou get tired of the guys shopping swimsuits, I never thought something like this would ever happen! Appearently break next week. |

| Freaking LOVED IT!!!! Also, they were very realistic when it came to Rei learning how to swim. When I was three or something, my parents had me taking swimming lessons at the Y. I took the lessons for two years and still could do little more than doggie paddle. When I was nine, I was swimming with water wings at a friend's pool. Suddenly, I realised I was doing it right, took off the water wings, and won a swimming race against said friend that same day. Sometimes, it just clicks... ...Well, that, and my ass of a dad had stopped throwing me in the deep end a couple of years earlier. I was TERRIFIED of water above my head back then. In other news, Rei totally grew on me. He's now my second fave, behind Haru. |

Absolutely freaking awkward.. particularly the part where Rei blames his speedos and evryone is staring at it or the part where Rin pushes Haru against grilling and haru grasps the grilling (i mean WTH??? )... Anyways my mom came inside my room when Rei was stretching, too bad she saw this.. She's been giving me funny looks ever since -.- >.< .. |

| The running gags for the series should really be placed properly otherwise viewers will find it repetitive. Not as good as episode 3, but still good. I seriously think Kou will get pregnant at an early age. The Haruka x Rin scene is extremely homoerotic! Damn! XD Makoto makes me swoon as always. Rei mentioning Reynolds number takes me back to my engineering days... Love the ending card... XD The shopping scene is the best! #ButtShots 4/5 |

| Considering Rei has already done other athletics besides swimming, it's kinda weird to see him do static stretches before exercise (in fact, static stretching before exercise can actually make you more prone to injury). As for the episode it was enjoyable, though that close up on Rei's speedo was rather disturbing, especially the penguin part... |

Peace~ I was thinking it was a possibility, but "shounen" is used for highschool guys or younger... they are not at all the main target for KyoAni, even for the moe series! Still I don't know how KyoAni is trolling, even if it was a fujoshi series (which is not, there are bishounen fanservice and some light shounen-ai hints, but not more than in a lot of other series, for guys!) they said it was aimed at girls! Even with this, there are girls/women who are actually good characters (I never (almost never?) saw a good girl/woman character in a series aimed at guys (meaning: with ecchi fanservice, harem) And with this amount of fangirl service, I don't know why guys are crying! If for not even 1/10 of this amount of fanboy service girls should cry/drop the series aimed at guys... Btw, the "It's basically K-on..  I like how Seijuu was happy so have seen Gou & the swim store, I ship them, Alot. Like some others had said a few things have gotten slightly annoying (Mainly the Gou & Kou bit) but overall this is probably my favorite anime of this release so far, followed by Blood Lad. |

For me the anime was shoujo, and Neko was not a problem... I don't know why people saw here as excessive male fanservice! for me she was cute and funny and even naked she was not as most of the female characters in shounen fanservice anime... Well, the military women uniform was disgusting... K seems to have a mixed of fanservice, but it's definitely more for girls than for guys, but guys didn't notice it most of the time... shounen-ai hints are hints but male fanservice is bouncing boobs, panties... nothing is hidden... this is the main difference! K sales were good, and mostly because of the shounen-ai hints/bishounen and not at all for naked Neko (she didn't even have an uncensored version in BD!) If Free! as an anime for guys (all the male would be girls and vise versa) there would have naked shower time, bouncing boobs, ecchi comments from girls to girls or from guys to girls, groping boobs between girls and so on! Don't you think so? |

| I get the feeling there is more to Rin's change in character other than his loss to Haru, perhaps something to do with that photograph of 4 other boys from episode 2.It seemed like he was about to cry when he looked at it. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Or maybe I am expecting to much plot from this anime. At least it offers a different kind of plot. |
| Another good episode, glad Rei finally learned how to swim! I'm definitely intrigued as to what made Rin change his personality so much, hoping it does get addressed. |
| LOL at Haru. He has difficulty choosing and all his swimsuits have the same colors, only the patterns vary. ^^ Even though what Makoto explained was mostly self-explanatory, it was informative and nicely executed. Seijuurou and Gou. :3 Seijuurou is another cool dude. Ahahaha, really dig the scenes between Haru and Rin. The fujoshi in me went wild. Really nice animation and perspective on the shoulder grabbing scene. I can't swim so I can totally relate with Rei. Love his moments too. I enjoyed this episode. Informative, nice animation and everything is pure eye candy. |
