| It's just a split; as in first 5 or 10 episodes (don't know how many episodes there will be ) are now and the next are in the fall. They are doing it that way because they might see it as more convenient, there really is no reason, but they could also do it to raise viewership and make people more interested. |

| I'm actually quite okay with that. While this isn't exactly award winning anime, it is at least entertaining enough for me to keep on watching, like Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon and Accel World. |
| Number of seasons doesn't matter: they had to make two cour anime and, likely in order to preserve animation quality (and few other reasons like better story flexibility and more hyping), they split the series into two parts. Fate/Zero did the same and I think the practice will become more common in future. Don't confuse it with series that were planned and budgeted to have X episodes but got Y more episodes via another season due to success. Success or fail, Valvrave is planned to be at least 2-cour. Will it be in one season or in two seasons is of less importance. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| I just hope they announce more after this season airs in the Fall cause most of Sunrise's mecha are around 36~50 episodes. I can't see this wrapping up in just 24 episodes. |

If you think about it it's kinda a new "Gundam" type anime. It has that Gundam wing feel, as for an example Heero and L- elf they both were bad guys then turned, both highly smart in survival. Well you get the Idea. Back to more then 24 episodes, seeing this is a new format, they need to see how well it does. They have this to sell and a new manga which is about Saki when she was an Idol. So if it sells well, we could see it having 48+ episodes. And if it does exceptionally well we'll get Valvrave: Destiny!! |
