| Nice episode, they should have shown more of the performance though. I think the animation cuts were funny most of the time. The princess thing has been building up and now the final episodes will be probably about that. I don't think she will just go out and marry him :P Also, Poor Mochizou again :S |

| Cultural Festival!! Well... Midori is cute in this episode!! Midori.. you're working too hard... Give yourself a space and ask for help... (But I like the hard-worker characters ... They make me feel proud somehow.) The Bathroom became a person's reflecting image room!! Talk yourself in there !! It must be hard to have those big responsibilities in your hands... That's why Leader's must be the one who can overcame alot. Well.. Problem solved !! Friendship is nice!! The Baton's Show was good!! Dera was the main highlight lol!! Well... THAT ENDING!!? ...Revelation!! (mole was one of the reason..) Good Episode !!! |

| I'm not going to say this was a great episode, but it's one I've enjoyed the most so far. Partially because Midori is my favorite and I'm a sucker for emotional cheese. Given how very close this is to the end, this is likely the last episode that's going to be focused on Tamako's school friends. And it was a good way to send them off. We finally see the baton twirling that's been hinted at throughout the show. I say hinted, because even though it's in the OP, and we've seen plenty of scenes with the girls at practice, it's very much been in the background of the show. I don't think we'd even met the other members of the team yet, much less seen a baton twirling scene besides I guess in the one where they were throwing batons at Dera. But honestly that's probably for the best. It was cute but nothing special, I did think it was cool how their outfits were like proto versions of the marching competition ones from Hibike. Although that might just be KyoAni being lazy, wouldn't be surprising. As I said though what made me enjoy this episode, is I do like Midori and this was a pretty strong one for her. Her writer's block was relatable and I liked her going to coffee shop man for advice it made sense. If her nervous breakdown was a bit overdone, the heart warming schmaltzy everything's going to be OK conclusion to it made up for that. Tamako and her are so cute together, I don't think it's going to happen but I'd love a yuri ending. The episode also had some good moments with other characters too. I smirked a little at Moichi's Kung Fu Film scene, and I liked the call back of Shiori running into Midori in the bathroom this time. As always some great Kanna one liners too, especially "Is it time to finally overthrow our senpai?" I'm still not thrilled about the main story line with the Prince, but we'll see what they do with it as this show winds down. |

| The direction was kinda weird this episode (so many jump cuts), but other than that it was fun, cute and very K-On-ish. I swear, KyoAni animate the cutest crying scenes ever, you can't help but feel sorry for Midori. Though stress and not meeting expectations will always be a relatable issue, especially in school. Somehow I was also really relieved that they didn't use Tamako's idea to dance in Mochi costumes for the cultural festival. That would have been the lamest thing ever. Looks like we'll finally get the plot focused episodes now, though I'm just looking forward to watching the movie now myself. |

| Well, since I'm not Midori's biggest fan, I found this episode a bit boring. But it wasn't THAT bad either. I actually laughed a bit when Tamako showed the album of the last year's festival but Mochizou ended up just taking photos of her xD And on a side note, I have to say that I find a bit baffling the way the "plot" is progressing I mean, some eps. such as this one had no relation at all with it except for the very last scene with Choi. But anyway, it isn't something that remarkable either. P.S.: Mochizou, my boy, better man up soon. Don't just let a random prince steal your Tamako! |

| that was an, ok episode i guess. They really squished the culture festival into just one episode huh? I mean hay at least they did it, although it felt a little rush and felt like a exclusive spotlight for....midori? I really hope this episode wasn't for us to feel sympathy towards her after she cock blocked Mochizou. Choi: "You are our prince's bride" Mochizou: No she aignt. but fr Tamako and Mochizou were made for each other, don't take that away. |
