| After reading the first few chapters of the manga a couple months ago, I was pretty excited to check this out. It was everything I would have expected and more. A very good first episode in my opinion! I'm looking forward to seeing more of their world as well as their adventures in ours.  |

| The show seems to be a lot more interesting than I expected after reading the initial plot synopsis. The funniest part was the action after the two emerged on Earth, absolutely priceless! And that Chiho person... Wow... Just wow... |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| First Impression: Short - Multilevel awesome. Long - Story The premise is already interesting. Take a demon lord form an alternative universe and place him into our reality and let him lose his power. How does he deal with the normal world to get back to his former self? Creative and funny. I'm hoping for pure awesomeness the next episodes. Besides that, it's damn funny. Really knows how to do good puns! props to the writer. Art It starts off with some awesome black box shading and has overall good production values. The character designs look a bit generic, but fit the tone of the show well. I'm looking forward to more good animated scenes in every episode. Sound Great soundtrack, best so far of this season what i've seen. we also get Ryota Ohsaka as the MC again. This time a demon lord. He is kinda a new Jun Fukuyama, really liked his performance in OreShura as well. The other VA have done a bit more but all are professional and sound fitting. The ending song is likable looking forward to an OP. Oh right the special language sound weird. Adds to the comedy but cannot take it serious. Still nice touch, very creative! Characters I must say that for a demon king behaves a bit off. But it all adds to the comedy. I mean his submissiveness is kinda sad to see, I hope he does some more awesome things later in the series. His servant is really funny, but not yet too well developed. The other character were just scratched on. So I spare my judgement for them for now. Enjoyment Amazing. This show is by far the best of the season so far. It has good production values. An interesting concept. It is well executed. Has a lot of potential. White Fox. Good job! |

| Wow. Just wow. I have a lot to say... But first of all, I must say this is one of the best this season! I knew it! White Fox did it again. Katanagatari to Steins Gate to Jormungand to This? Shit, White Fox you rock. This plus Shingeki no Kyojin are my most expected show of this season. White Fox + Award winning novel. I was right! This episode was so awesome. I was so excited watching this episode because of its pure epicness and then...  AND THEN I SAW HIYOCCHI'S CHARACTER. I nearly died from awesomeness. AND THEN, AND THEN, ENDING SONG, NANO.RIPE. HOLY FUCK. I CAN'T STOP SMILING. Next level epicness, seriously. BEST SERIES THIS SEASON I'VE WATCHED SO FAR! ---end of fanboyism--- The story started off greatly with the seriousness vibe from it. I was so happy when I saw the blood, from there I thought "this wouldn't be lame"! Kinda reminded me of Maoyuu Maou Yuusha but well, of course this is obviously better. The action in the first few minutes was too BADASS. Really superb action scenes. I got goosebumps from that green haired girl casting spells. I really love how they used a different language from the start. It emphasize the difference of the settings ( Between Japan and Ente Isla ). Holy crap man, no matter how many times I watch the fighting scenes in the first minutes, its still epic. Feels like I'm watching a movie. After that first minutes of seriousness and epicness, I just couldn't stop laughing afterwards. No joke, I was laughing the whole time they arrived in Japan. Who would've thought that that scary looking Demon Lord would turn into your typical shounen boy. Lol at Alsiel with that Kamehameha pose during their encounter with the police. One of the most important things they did in this episode is that they literally showed how the characters outside of Japan learned Japanese. They didn't just "Oh, lets just use Japanese language like they know it". What I'm saying is I really like how they delivered the story. LOL again at Alsiel calling a taxi unconsciously. So yeah, they properly explained how the foreigners adapted the lifestyle in Japan. How did they deal with it. Not just because he is a demon lord, he can live in Japan with no problem. Well, I guess that's part of the story but... How should I put it... I think the first episode was really perfect. It contained information that it should have. Also lol at Maou's accent when talking to the real estate agent. DAT SCARY OWNER! Aaah, I have more to say but. Story - 10/10 I see no plotholes. The story was delivered perfectly. Don't know what else to say. Art - 8/10 I love the art. Although I won't call it the best art ever, its still good. White Fox is not really known for its great art but for its consistency. Animation - 10/10 Shit. Epic Animation at the start. Epic. Characters - 10/10 Its pretty obvious that everybody loves the characters. I mean, they are simply amazing. Overall, 5/5 episode. Haven't felt this great from a first episode for a long time! White Fox + Hiyocchi + Nano.Ripe + Award Winning Novel = Killer. |
| The biggest surprise of the season so far, the beginning of the episode was one of the best anime of all beginnings are times, if it was that way for the rest of the episodes would be epic, but now will focus more on comedy and maybe a little romance (?) I hope it stays nice as it is! |

| Great start for this anime, was better than I expected and a lot different from the beginning of the episode. This was good though because it looks like it will be hilarious. His attitude seems to have changed a lot from when he was a demon lord. Lol when he was going to use his last bit of magic to hea the fries. 5/5 |
