| Hey guys, sorry for the delay with things. I've been having some tests and projects in school therefore, I've been late with putting up voting threads and icontest. Sorry guys><"! Anyways, I thought I'll do something different this time compared to those some other one's that were pretty easy and was a blunt theme. This time, it might be hard but I hope you guys could have your creativity lead you to ideas. Ready for the theme? :O Well here it is!! (note: the theme might sound weird but I've been trying hard to think of a title for it...any ideas tell me? :)) I've extended the deadline from 2 weeks into 2 weeks and 2 days knowing how difficult this theme is but I hope there will be entries. Good luck guys! --- SIXTEENTHicontest --- Theme: Two in One What I mean is, to have two animes or manga put into one icon. (ex: an icon with konata and haruhi suzumiya together) it's just like putting different anime/manga together that makes it look like they are from the same anime/manga but actually they aren't. It all depends on how you blend them in. - let your creativity flow - feel free to use any images (non-anime) as background - the icons can be animated gif Rules: - You can enter up to 2 icons - Icon size: 100x100 OR 100x125 - Must be your own work - Cannot be from fanart, unless it is your own Format for Submitting Icons: 1. (insert icon) 2. name the character/series 3. give link to the original picture so we know that you did not submit another person's work ------------------------------------DEADLINE-------------------------------------- October 23 - Nov 8, 2008 Reward: If your icon is selected as first place your icon will be used as the main club picture/icon for two weeks until the next Icontest has another winner :) You will also get a banner for your profile! | You're Fushigi Yuugi one is allowed, as far as I am concerned. The way i understand it, both series happen in the same world, but one is not a "prequel" of the other, in the sense that there are completely different characters, correct? And your icon wasn't omitted intentionally. It just seems the last page was missed entirely. Unfortunately, I can't edit her post on the MAL Awards board. I think the best thing to do, at this point, would be to open a new nomination thread... but I guess we'll have to wait until icecream appears. If she isn't around by tonight or tomorrow, I may do it myself.... but I'd prefer not to do that. |
