Enjoyed it a lot, I'm also kind of alright with the 9th being in the 3rd world because she 'died' and became part god, kind of eliminating her from the competition. Would've liked to see a slightly happier ending, but oh well, I might read the manga, it sounds promising.

this is byfar my favorite anime ever. and i swear if they make a season 2 ima go buy a brand new 55 inch LED tv 1080,120 and watch it cause this anime is seriously worth it. only thing that i didnt like was how sad everything was at the end, was so depressed until Yuno and Yuki are reunited. hopefully they make a second season that follows them again

No Murmur backstage at the end...what a HUGE bummer!!

Kinda confused about the sudden change of every diary owner's fate. What causes it to happen?

What a unique ending by mixing end credits into the anime.

In the end, Yuno died, came back to life, and then somehow leaped through space and time to see Yukki? Is there going to be a second season?

Lol'ed at the second world Murmur reading a rotten manga (called M something something...) for ten thousand times. The story of her life maybe XD? Extremely loyal to her master by the way.

Lol'ed at Murmur blurting out she likes her master, but Yukki turned her down right on the spot!!!!

I really liked the piano piece by the way.

To be honest, I'm kinda confused with how I feel about this ending... lol
Before I started watching this anime, the friend who recommended it to me said that it's really good but has a bad ending. I can't say the same. I liked this ending really much but there's still something that didn't make me feel satisfied :S

I'm glad this didn't become the kind of perfectly happy ending that I was afraid it would be. The ending had a dark shadow cast over it even though seemingly everyone lived happily ever after in the 3rd world... But as someone already mentioned before, Yukiteru sulking for 10000 years over what happened is a bit depressing even on his level, lol.

But Mirai Nikki was the kind of anime that doesn't have many kinds of endings that could work with it to begin with. I think this was a very good way to end it, they could have messed it up way worse :)

Actually I was planning to score Mirai Nikki as 9/10 and thought the ending might drop it by one, but actually after seeing the last two episodes, I'll score it as 10/10 :) This was really one of the best animes I've ever seen in all aspects. I can even forgive Yukkii's absurdly wimpy and pathetic personality. The good sides of this anime (specially towards the end) weight way more on the scale than him :)

So, 5/5 for the episode and 10/10 for the anime :)

I just finished the anime tonight and I'm glad I have some place to discuss the ending. I know you all understand how I felt after the ending and I've been reading some of your guys' posts and now I don't feel that lonely anymore XD. I mean come on! Years after the survival game and Yukiteru is still alone in that empty world with Mur.

Happy ending for the rest of the participants.
I'm bad with names but, let's see what I remember.
So the guy with the son that has a heart problem end up happy by treating him early on.
The sacred eye chick doesnt become evil.
That little evil kid gets to stay with his parents.
The dad and daughter with the rabid dogs end up happy.
The daycare lady gets help with her..daycare facility
What else..
LUCKY 9TH gets to live in 3rd world and has kids with that detective...WHILE her 3rd self is still living... crazy things will happen if the two of them ever meet.

And finally, so sad to see Yuno and Yuki not ending up together. Their previous love was sacrificed to change the others' futures.

OH and the fight between unlocked murmur form and 9th was epic!

What a gory, twisted but entertaining ride I have experienced, the ending was great, and unique. I was very surprised that Yukki didn't end up with Yuno in the 3rd world, but looking at it Yuno ended with her family and friends, and Yukki with his family and the other girl with glasses, so still a happy ending in the 3rd world. Kinda impressed how Yukki ended up ruling the 2nd world for over 10,000 years or something like that, he decided to be a lonely God (not literally), even Murmur said he could create a woman but still he had feelings for the girl he knew some 10,000 years before.

What I like most of this series is that we got 2 types of ending, a "sad" and "depressing" ending in the 2nd world and a "happy" ending for the 3rd world. The music score was fine but nothing out of this world. The 1st OP was great and the 2 EDs. Artwork and animation where great and storyline was very good. Superb character development and the voice acting was great. The only negative thing besides the cops that acted and looked fake, there where some questions that where left unanswered, probably the manga has some but in the end I wanted the anime to answer them for me not the other medium. Overall a must see for any one out there, I seriously recommend this title.

Edit: For the series score I would say a 9 or 8 out of 10, kinda undecided there.

I loveeeeee Yuno! Made this show for me.
And Even if Yukki ended up looking like a chump he still changed the future.

The only thing that bugs me is that, if Yuno was already the god in world 1, then why did world 1 Yuno have to die in world 2's game? Wouldn't the death of Eight make Yuki god of world 2?

Seeing as how world 2 Yuno was already dead, that would make her out of the game.

Still depressed over that ending.

What a great ending, the epilogue was just amazing and just made it perfect for me, the whole story was strange at first but I really really enjoyed it and normally I wouldn't be affected by storyline like these but this one really did a great job!

It was a great 26 run with great story development and with a great ending I don't normally give 10/10 but for me this deserves it!

After watching the last episode, I was happy, but confused. So I read the last episode of the manga to get a better explanation.

Here are some of the things I question :

1) Minene staying in the 3rd world.
-Wont it be trouble having two identical individuals in the same city?
-Her babies can fly?! Wouldnt it be a insane in the future?!
-So technically Nishijima's wife is a captive... while he's a policeman?! Wont his friends/colleagues find out lol.

2) Worlds?
-So World 2's 10,000 is 2 years in World 3?
-World 1's god, Yuno 1, is dead after she killed herself. So does that mean World 1 is no longer around anymore? (Since they did put accross the idea that when the god dies, the world ends)
-Yuki 2 becomes god of world 2. So at the end of the manga, he was requested to be god in world 3 - request to world 3's deus/god...so he will have to abandon world 2? or is he both god in 2 and 3?

I'm happy that by the time it is world 3's turn to play "the games", the idea was not executed most probably because the mayor has a love life now and has better things to do than create future diaries. Plus, deus/god of world 3 most probably knew who he wanted to have the god role. thus with the help of Murmur1 (Who is still probably following yuno due to "her being the master ultimately despite different worlds", they bridged a passage from world 2 and 3.

Hmm, so does this means all murmur will "follow" the person who is god whatever world they are in if their world doesnt exist anymore?

Love this anime lots and im happy that yuno is sane but in the end has her memories back, so she knows she loves yuki and the things they been through together... so at least she is alot more sane than who she used to.. (since the world 3 yuno didnt went through abuse or killed her parents lol)

Ending was a bit.. eh... The manga ending was kind of better, but at the same time too cheesy and made me like the anime ending. Its like the ending of the manga was rushed or he just ran out of idea's. There could have been a better middle-ground ending if you ask me, but all in all the anime ending was pretty good.

If you really want to fit in, just put Legend of the Galactic Heroes in your top 5 and have it be the only 10-rated anime in your list.

great ending, everybody in the 3rd world had a happy future.
the survival game has ended, seems like 2nd world murmur had been trapped inside the orb by 1st world murmur,
1st world yuno killed herself after she made up with yuki and yuki couldnt find it to kill her and become god. 2nd world yuno was killed by 1st world yuno, and 3rd world yuno lived happily ever after.
i wonder why 3rd world murmur/deus never stepped in.
yuki becomes 2nd world god and only he and murmur are left.
end.

OK....first of all, I read the final pages of the manga, and it's fucking retarded, so I'm glad the anime didn't end that way...

Now, onto my final review of this anime.

Characters The premise for the characters was pretty interesting, most of them were individuals with very sad backgrounds and I'm guessing they all had a reason to become god.

However, what we got were retarded characters who did insanely stupid nonsense episode after episode.

Aside from a few characters (most notably Minene and Akise) they were pretty bad characters...4/10

Plot Obviously the strength of this anime relied on it's story. While it mixed in elements of other mediums which have been made many times before....such as the time loop and a survival game where the players must kill each other, It was pretty damn interesting to see them do it in this manner and I will definitely give them credit for that......8/10

Overall....I liked the premise, but the execution wasn't that great and even though I thought the ending was satisfactory, there were a lot of problems with the way they got there, still, for the most part, it was an entertaining anime, and in the end that is the most important factor....7/10

Now that is what you can call true love. Yukiteru went through so much nanoni(still) he was willing to give up everything for Yuno. The fact that Yuno from the 1st world died made me kind of sad but ever since the show started we knew one of them is going to die.
Maybe some expected a kind of twist so they would both survive but I like it the way it actually happened.
I all I am very satisfied with the anime and would love to see some second season (that is not coming ...) because of the cut-off end that was different than the manga. I am not against cut-off ends if they are well placed. And I think that Mirai Nikki had that kinda ending.
You could spin this series endlessly , showing the happy world of Yuno and Yuki but instead of getting everything presented on the plate you activate your own imagination so you are able to create your very own unique HAPPY END :D

Thanks for starting the series. I am glad I've watched it.

So cheers to everyone. I predict you all a happy future and to all other Mirai Nikki users watch out not to get tagged by me. :D ^^

Happy survivor 12.12.21

That was awesome! Loved it.

I suggest for everyone to get/download the Blu-Ray releases, since they include extra unaired scenes at the end of certain episodes. The last scene in this episode in particular hinted the actual ending of the anime based on the manga.

I had a thought that maybe the ending should of gone something like this; when Yuno goes to stab herself she is stopped by Deus and both her and Yuki are taken into his little hideout. Here he decides that since Yuno cheated and is the winner of the first survival game she is disqualified from the second game making Yuki the winner (ninth is considered out of the game since she "died" and gained god-like powers) but instead of sending them both back to their own worlds he makes them the dual gods of the 3rd world (like in the manga) since the 1st and 2nd world are now likely completely destroyed thanks to having no god.

Deus would then proceed to fix the problems with causality caused by the time leap and it would continue like in the anime with 3rd world Yuki happy with his family and 3rd world Yuno also happy with her family and all the other survival game contestants happy in the 3rd world.

Then 3rd world Yuno wouldn't have to be taken away from her happy world and given 1st world Yuno's memories like in the manga, it just makes more sense for it to have ended the way I described, cause surely Deus should of stepped in at the end, more so than he did.

Plus my way skips the whole smashing through dimensions with a hammer, which was pretty stupid to be honest.

Oh wow! I actually like the idea you came up with. While I really loved the bittersweet and ambiguous ending of the anime, the manga ending felt so forced that it left a bad taste in my mouth. Your idea certainly makes sense, and what I like about it is how at least in this regard, is that it doesn't disturb the new life found by the 3rd world Yuno and Yuki.

Sure it's a rather all-around happy ending, but it's certainly better than the manga ending.

Super questions :
1.In that picture , the 6th is like stare at Akise , 6th fall in love with Akise ? o.O
6th is a good person too , i thinks Akise is better with her than No balls Yuki

2.In that picture , its look like Yuki and Yuno back to earth (3rd world) because he want to meet his friend and see the stars
Yuki revive WTF ? How about the real 3rd world Yuki ?
Or it will be like two Minine in 3rd world ?
He is a god now doesnt he ? or he can back to earth and his god place anytime he want ?

3.in anime series happy end epilogue , whats Deus mean "what did the observer''s report said?"
Akise is still an observer in 3rd world ?
Does akise still remember 2nd world memory ? because he is created by Deus ^^

4.What do you think will happen after Yuki back to 3rd world earth (your opinion) ?
I think he'll hug all of his friend ^^ , or Deus give yuki's friend 2nd world memory back like yuno?

5.This is out of logic , how 3rd world Uryu Minene easily married with Masumi ?
If you are masumi , will you marry Minene that you dont know who she is ?
she lost one of her hand and eye , i think its horrible for normal people to see ?
Or she give Masumi his 2nd world memory ? cause she have Deus power

Please answer T_T , i just join this forum because of Mirai Nikki

From what I read the manga ending and the anime ending sounds the same but in the anime they omit the hammer scene making it confusing about what is going on... maybe they should have added that scene.
Anyway it was a touching episode, expecially when I saw everyone alive and happy in the third world I couldn't help but cry a bit.

Yeah, it is the hammer scene still, minus a hammer. lol Also, I suppose it's sort of nice that everyone is happy in the 3rd world, but at the same time it's kind of a lie. I just mean that it's an entirely new timeline, everyone is still very dead on the 2nd World. Other than Yukiteru being a pansy for 10,000 years, it's not the worst ending I have ever seen.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.
