I still remember the day when I first read the episode 1 of Hellsing on Young King Ours. I was a high school student at that time, now I'm about to finish the graduate school. Hellsing was always next to me throughout the adolescence. Thank you, Hirano Kouta sensei, and I'm looking forward to reading your next series!

I haven't been keeping up with the Hellsing manga recently because I wanted it to build up a good number of chapters before diving back in. So is this the author's intended ending point or are the publishers screwing him over and forcing a premature ending?

The last volume will be 10th. I expect its release to be this winter.

Hirano Kouta stated long ago that he would end the series by volume 10. So this is exactly what he planned.

Well, it's sad to know that the Hellsing manga's going to end this nearest winter, but hell, I hope it'll end in the most awesome way ever.

So, I guess this'll mean that Hellsing Ultimate will have 10 episodes total? Seeing as one episode equals to one volume of the manga, so, it may be.

Anyways, I guess that Hellsing: The Dawn's going to get resumed pretty much after the original's done, which is great.

Man it feels like the end of an era now. Goodbye, Hellsing, you will be greatly missed. Here is hoping though when the takabon comes out we get an even more incomprehensible rant from Hirano :p.

Kinda saw it coming since he did say volume 10 was gonna be it. They had enough material to end it also. Still sad to see it end.

This is some really nice news. I thought that it would be a while until Hellsing concludes (the chapter count is currently at 93, I thought that Hellsing would end with over 100 chaps). what would make this news even sweeter is if OVA V would be released this fall.

Hellsing is a great manga. I hope to read the final as soon as possible. When we read a series for a long time, always beats a sadness in the end (Well, Inuyasha NO..). Now i'm waiting the final of Berserk and Evangelion...a day..

Well, it was an extremely well done job, now we just have to wait for it to be OVA'd, then more fun will begin!

Anyway, my regular Online manga reading website was just told to get rid of all Dark horse comics on the web site. Anywhere else where I may read it?

I wonder what's going to happen... *daydreams for 5 seconds and moves on*
''... you know what? As a writer, I bring life into those who will experience happiness, sadness, torment and love in stories I write. They will have the opportunity to discover what being important means... and all because I will never be able to do the same as they could. If I could, I would put myself in their place right now. But no, my magic isn't like that...''

It sure better! Stories should always reach a good conclusion and not run forever and ever and not accomplish anything with its plot >.>

Thats good about Hellsing though. Hopefully, this will be a worthy conclusion, at last.

FINALLY.

I've been awaiting the end to the damn thing for years. I am beyond glad Hirano-sensei did not drag it out like he could. In the end he really is the lazy bastard I thought he was.

I look forward to the last volumes to be published in the US.

Hellsing's probably one of the few manga series' that has worked with the theme: characters on the borderline of madness. This is what made it shine an ominous red over all others. But, it's just too bad this star is coming to the end of its life. As many others do, I hope it goes off in a supernova. Alucard will be sorely missed for being the King of the era of Badass. I suppose Dante will get the throne now, but since video games and manga are in two different categories; may the No Life King rule forever!

Hellsing was one of the first manga and anime I really followed, so it coming to an end is pretty big news for me. Granted, after Anderson was killed off in a half-assed way, I was a little turned off, but here's hoping the ending to the series is satisfying.

Well I was a bit surprised when I heard that Hellsing will end next month, I knew that it was closing to an end, but somehow I thought it would make it to chapter 100, but I was wrong. Well Hellsing was the first manga I've red, and it's thanks to Hellsing that I've become an anime and manga fan. Well thank you Hirano for Hellsing.
