| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Just a wonderful episode. I really enjoyed this story in the manga and thought it transitioned well into the anime. The confrontation between Shigure and Natsume was quite awesome and the part right after when Sasada came in was very touching. Seems like next episode will be new for me, looking forward to it. |

| Somehow, Natsume turned out to be one of my favourites this season. Love the serenity of the anime. This episode itself is pretty neat. Especially the lost Kappa. |

| This and Ryoko continue to be the only two shows that I actually care about this summer. By this point in the series everything seems to be set perfectly, especially the pacing which was really great this episode. It never felt like anything was dragging and the resolution to the story didn't feel rushed as was the case in the past couple of episodes. Instead things flowed smoothly, even when Nyanko-sensei provided some comedy relief, to retain both the calm atmosphere and melancholy filled moments splendidly. |

| Really well written. Normally, in anime, the highschool, creapy scary house story turns out like scooby-doo. This one is handled on a much higher level. |

| this anime is really sweet and turned out to be one of the season's best. I love how every episode preview gives you the wrong idea about some cliche and then it turns out to be wholly different. Last epi the guy from the other class and this epi the class rep girl with her request. Sure takes its time but it doesn't get either boring or "fillerish". Just the thing for summer! |

| Loved the circular ending with Natsume watering the kappa. I noticed that the show goes for touching endings... I like that, it keeps me watching. |

| This series might be about spirits and the supernatural, but I see very human stories in these episodes and a lot of depth and I'm starting to get used to its nature. Even if there's not a continuous narrative, there's this great feeling, humor and depth about it. Oh and the artwork is fantastic! So far the character-designs and background music are a big plus! And sexy human form is sexy! |

| hm, i thought this episode was rather.. weak. it was "cute", but it didn't really touch me much..:/ i love those 2 youkai (are they youkais?) that always cheer for natsume hehe.. and well, of course nyanko-sensei! i also love his voice:) |
