I feel kinda bad for them having to defend all their moves, but at least it shows that they're looking at public feedback. But anyways, grats to Rita, I loved her songs |

Just a quick question, which anime(s) is/are KyoAni busy with anyway? |

This kind of feels like Kanon... I heard The first Kanon was a fail. I must admit KyoAni did a great job bringing Kanon(fail) to the miraculously brilliant Kanon 2006. I'd bet JC Staff is trying to become like the evil guy that really sucks so that the good guy (KyoAni) looks really good. Looking at KyoAni they don't have that many anime done but they've done some of the best popular ones like Haruhi, K-on, and all of Key's previous work (except Angel Beats) Oh my, look at JC Staff... they've ruined TypeMoon's Shingetsutan Tsukihime! Shame on them! The only ones that are noteworthy of JC were Toradora, Toara, the first season of Shakugan, Kamisama no Memo. (LOL.... just realized these were famous due to loli tsunderes...) I wondered why they didn't ask one of the the Angel Beats's companies to do this; they did a excellent job with Angel Beats... |

Man, people are really overreacting to JC Staff. I would hate to be in their shoes right now, with all the Little Busters backlash. Honestly, I hoped for KyoAni to get LB!. However, JC Staff remains a good studio that releases some solid titles (Zero no Tsukaima series, Toradora, etc). I even enjoyed some of their underrated titles like Kamisama no Memochou. I trust JC Staff, since they seem to be putting all their efforts on this one. Hope it doesn't disappoint. |

I figured as much. Dang KyoAni for being too busy, but I like just about all their stuff, and from what i've seen of their upcoming projects, they look good. (If only they would make up for this by doing K-ON! season 3 :P) |

[...]Kyoto Animation has been quite busy in producing other titles and Visual Arts could not wait for their turn to come. What would waiting realistically cost them? Fans have already been waiting for ~ 5 years. Why make it sound so urgent it needs to get made now? Given the choice of waiting or this, what would the majority of fans choose? I may be wrong, but I think fans have been very vocal about their choice since the news came out. After all the shouting and arm flailing is done though, I think most people are looking forward to this. The news that the original cast is reprising their roles is great. Rita singing new versions of the game's theme songs is also wonderful. The commitment by the original creators to be involved in this is good news. A series composer that knows the source material, and seems dedicated is reassuring. Everything that has been said has been stacked in favor of JC Staff succeeding. Ultimately though, these are just words and promises. JC Staff will have to deliver, and to high expectations. |

J.C. is a love or hate studio in my opinion. Dunno what to think, it is a shame Kyoani couldn't adapt Little Busters nor P.A. Works. I wonder what White Fox is doing, in my opinion, after the superb job they did with Steins;Gate and the opening of Rewrite why didn't Key approach them instead of J.C.? |

It's like J.C Staff is the worst studio on the earth while it's certainly not. At-least let them do this and if they really ruin your show, then don't buy bd/dvd and tell visual arts about how they make the worst decision ever. Right now these all news topics about LB with hundreds of complain posts look like a joke. |

It doesn't seem to me at the moment that KyoAni is terribly busy with anything. In fact, if anything else, I think it's JC Staff that's always busy with stuff; I think most seasons have at least two or three shows that are being animated by JC Staff, no? I won't bash JC Staff yet, but I hope they don't work on too many projects while working on LB; that way, they can use more funds and people. |

Baba revealed that the series composer Shimada Michiru had completed the original game including the hidden episode with her daughter. After finishing the game, she checked if she missed something by reading 4.7 MB of the text data of the game scenario. o-o! Well, let's hope it'll turn out good. Also I'm looking forward listening to the OP & ED :D |

Fans (including me) this is what they really wanted, but to hear that a studio that is infamous for ruining titles is going to animate it, of course they would be on edge. You assume that PA Works is not also too busy. AFAIK, they also do one series at a time and they already have just as many projects lined up as KyoAni (Hanasaku Iroha 2, Tari Tari). Salinga said: You'd think that animating LB would be a priority for KyoAni, since it would be impossible for the anime to not sell well. Well, if they've already commited to something else, then there's nothing they can do. If they don't think they can do it without it affecting their other projects or meeting whatever project schedule Visual Arts had in mind, then declining to do it is the right move. And maybe KyoAni thinks what they're already doing would sell even better ;). |

KyoAni fans should just realize KyoAni already feels they don't need Key. In case every damnable idiot has short term memory, KyoANi has several shows they basically left in cold storage to work on whatever the fuck they please, leaving their sizable fanbases in the cold. In other words, KyoAni would have never gotten around to do LB, that was why Visual Arts basically said "fuck this". COuld they have chosen a better studio? Sure. Is JC STAFF being the one chosen really enough to start a shitstorm before even one episode is out? Not even close. I think it's fucking hilarious that it was BECUSE the fanbase was so persistent on the LB adaptation that Visual Arts didn't wait any more. First the fans go "wah wah wah give me LB now" and VA consents. Then they go "wah wah wah why couldn't you wait !" Give me a fucking break. |

Guys really have to take everything into consideration when it comes to this matter. Re-write sales were absolutely DREADFUL when it came to the sales of Kanon, LB, and Clannad. So I am sure Key believe it or not probably needs something to bring in the profits. JC staff is most likely cheap, eager to do anything that exists, and has good marketing. If the anime fails then people will most likely buy the visual novel because people will say "oh its better." If they anime does good then Key still wins and JC staff gets a better rep. Either way lets just assume Key is in a struggle for money and they need quick cash and little busters release was the way to do it. |

I guess this means that whatever else they've got in the works is BIG, and will sell like hotcakes; at least, that's the only rational explanation I can come up with. |

They certainly arent above that and if they lose out on the cash cow that we all know that Little Busters is, then it's their loss. You already know I was hoping for P.A Works to do this but I can imagine it's exactly the same situation there. I'm kinda meh about J.C Staff doing it as they have had plenty of failings in recent memory. However Toradora from them was animated really well, fantastic characters and story so if it's anything even remotely close to that then I can be pleased with the adaption. Especially if there isnt going to really be any anime original content and it will be true to the Visual Novel. If this is the case, all they have to do is animate it...the story is done already by Visual Arts themselves...so they will have to try really hard to muck it up I reckon. |
