| Rumor Quashing: Bones List Is Probably Fake A follow-up on the FMA and DtB sequels rumor: Canned Dogs reports that the list of animators was fake and made by a third party just to stir up trouble. It is noted that at least one animator’s contact information– Mnemosyne director Ueda Shigeru’s –was real, and he even received an anonymous fax apologizing for the leak of his personal info. But even if the animators’ information is all real, it could still have been a third party (one with either industry access or remarkable stalking skills) that put the list together with false information on the sequels. Or it could be that Bones is just trying to cover their asses– only time will tell. I’m inclined to think the former, though, because if Bones is just covering up, it’ll be revealed if/when those series actually DO get made. [Source] |

| Haha, I know right? I didn't care how they were going to do this as long as it was good. A second season OR a remake would have been fine with me. The only thing I'm worried about is the current art of anime... it's a lot different from the 2000's, and quite honestly, I prefer that style over the new style. The other thing is that I hope they don't make it really short like 12 episodes or something... that would just be pointless. I'm really hoping a year of the show (52ish episodes) or more. :P |

Both manga and anime of ARIA ended almost simultaneously. I hope they will do the same thing. FMA2 will be the biggest title in 2009! |
| Hmmm well Full Metal Alchemist the way it was meant to be sound pretty good, because they'd have to write them selfs out of weird corners to write a real sequel....And i don't know if Darker then BLACK 2 will work too. But yeah it would be cool if it all worked. ^^ |

And a similar kind of music would be nice, too. ^^ Anime art keeps changing (obviously, because everything else in the world does, too) but I still think that anime from the early to mid 2000's had the best overall quality... I liked the art in most of the shows, and some of the music was amazing. The same concern you are having over music is the same concern I'm having over the art. Except, now I'm worried about the music, too. You don't hear anime OSTs with music like that from the FMA OSTs anymore really... I really do love those soundtracks. But a fair amount of the anime art now feels the same, and FMA definitely has a different style compared to most anime today. Looking at the art and music quality from Soul Eater (also from Bones) makes me feel a little better, but the thing with that is Soul Eater is a new anime, whereas FMA already had an anime that I really enjoyed the style of. ...uh oh, I went tl;dr again. |

| Okay if FMA is a remake I guess that is okay, we still will have to get through about 25 or so episodes till new stuff(I believe htat is where the split is) and then get to the juicy. I just hope it has good animation, I can not think of any long series that does, and if FMA is going to do the manga I want it all, and if there are fillers make them of the quality of the first half of FMA's. |

| Okay so it's a remake of FMA. That sounds way better than a second season, but are they starting from the beginning or where the anime strayed from the manga. I think they started changing things when Greed was released from Area...5? Well I hope they start from the beginning otherwise I could careless about this news. |

| To all the people talking about why the don't just start from episode x in the original where things started to change, you have to consider this: If they start at some point BESIDES the beginning, they are obviously going to lose viewers in Japan as not everyone has seen the original or read the manga. It's almost like watching the second season of something without knowing a single thing about the first season. A lot of people would be frustrated and stop watching, right? So in order to get more viewers, they would more than likely start over completely. |
