| It's a good first episode. From what I've seen, his lawyer is also the guy in charge of deadman wonderland. That's a conflict of interest since they make money off the prisoners in the for profit prison. I hardly believe that the court system would ignore that fact. Ganta has powers too, so this should be an interesting series. |

| It's my second time watching Deadman Wonderland, I was watching it when was released, but I couldn't continue because of personal affairs. Now I'm gonna finish it. I think it's pretty good. |

| sweet opening episode really, lot going on.... i found it intresting when the inmate died, and something about cand? Like he needed it to keep him safe maybe? yeah overall nice opener, definately gunna be watching the rest! |

Man, I watched the first ep of this subbed, when it was airing. I thought it was pretty good, and put it on my ptw list, and it's been on there for a year. But damn, that's one of the best dubs FUNi's put out in a while. And, I was just thinking I need a good mind-f*** dub, we don't get a lot of those these days. Urahara Out!! |

| Solid first episode. Funi dub is good, they convey the characters emotions pretty well. The story is interesting. Very eager to seeing more, and learning more about the Man in Red. |

I'm disappointed by the plot, they condamn him so easily, nobody think about a personality disorder. The action is good, but it's not enough because for now there is no psychology at all. I give 3/5 to the first episode, I hope it gets better. |

| Interesting start of this Anime, in this first episode already allot has happened, but seeing how the story went in this I assume it will be a life in that part until he finds a way to get revenge against that red man! He received some kind of powers from that dude IDK why though but I'm sure we'll figure out sooner or later, the character design is quite interesting though and the ED from this episode does seem quite interesting showing picture's of their pasts explaining how the girl knows him probably from the time he spent in tokyo! Either way nice start let's see what this Anime has to offer us! 9/10 from this first episode! |

| Gets a death sentence before figuring out how he killed all his classmates, fail justice system. Even if there's a tape saying he did it, it still doesn't explain how it's even possible. I liked this a whole lot better than the first time I tried it back when it came out. I'm not sure if I'm watching an uncensored version or not, the gory parts were very dark but not as dark as I remember them being. Still hard to see what was going on. Loving the ED! |
| Few times do I enjoy such an accelerated and straight forward plot, but in this case I think it actually suited this episode just fine. Can´t say I really understand what´s going on, though it seems it´ll be a very enjoyable experience. |

| Heh, All i gotta say is wow. If i was that kid i'd want to die too, his luck is so bad that its farfetched. Pretty insano. An amusement park in a prison? Just the place i'd want to be. ;) And whose that girl? Some alien, or futurisic naked fighter... The 'Red Man' intrigues me the most. |

| I like how it all start just like some any other school life anime and then it turns to hell.:) Whole setup not really convincing nor realistic... like, child being sentenced to death, lol? Private prison that feeds inmates to death shows? Oh, but it's just insignificant small details, what's important that this whole stuff was really enjoying to watch. |

| Great start! The episode went by so fast...damn poor kid lost his best friends and entire class and he's the only one who survived. D: So of course everyone thinks he did it...even though we know he didn't and it's frustrating to see all that. -_- Shiro is adorable, love her already. <3 Love Ganta's voice, I recognized it the second I started watchng I immediately thought of Hange from AoT and I knew it, I was so happy haha. xD |
