Tien killed one but poor Yamcha died :( Poor Bulma :'(
Shape430 said: Yeah Yamchas death was a lot sadder after just watching Dragon Ball =(. Looking forward to some Krillin action next ep.
Yeah, when I watched Kai (before I watched Dragon Ball) I just laughed when Yamcha died, as everyone else does whenever something happens to anyone other than Goku/Vegeta/Gohan. But after watching Dragon Ball and going through 153 episodes of character development...it's actually a little sad.
I feel like after seeing Yamcha's development in the whole Dragon Ball series, it deserved at least to not be spoiled in the title of the episode, they ruined it
As soon as he started to fight I knew the outcome of it
Saibamen each strength 1200 a good opportunity to test the strength of Z group. Tenshinhan (Tien) solving the first with no trouble. Yamcha inattentive after the battle costing his life, very unnecessary and sad. Kuririn now mad as fuck.
Oh and spoilers in japanese episode titles aren't so rare... dont know why they do it often.
Well, I can see why the legendary memes of Yamcha exist. I wouldn't be too hard on Yamcha, though. While his arrogance is an extreme hindrance, he did well for himself during his fight with the Saibaman. He, unfortunately, let his pompous behavior bring about his end, and provided a huge opening for the presumed downed Saibaman. Regardless, I hope he learns his lesson that haughtiness and grandiosity will get you nowhere.
Well, it seems like the Z fighters can now take on Raditz if they went back in time, considering how they're going toe to toe with Saibamen, whose power levels, supposedly, are around Raditz's.
It seems to be that the saiyans are merely playing around with this, being overly confident they are going to win. Yamucha sacrificed himself, knowing he had not yet been revived by Shen Long. Despite that, underestimating your opponent like that and not being on guard can be your end - as Yamucha clearly shows. Of course, the sayains, especially, Vegeta, show no mercy even for his own allies. This will be an interesting battle. We will just have to await Goku's arrival now.
Oh overconfidence!!! All great fighters lose because of this. This is sad that Yamcha also had to die even after being that strong. Saibamans are like self bombs. That one just took him. Yamcha should've a bit conscious about these. At least Tien defeated one. And now Krillian is going. I wonder if Yamcha comes back again like Krillian and Goku!!! :(
This episode hit different. I didn't expect to tear up from the Dragon Ball series. It hits a lot harder, having watched all of the original Dragon Ball before this.
