| Almost official now, that Dragon saved Sabo : D Great episode, cool seeing Luffy leaving in the suit that we first came to know him in. Didn't think I would enjoy the childhood flashback animated, but Oda made it very entertaining and moving overall : ) 5/5 Looking forward to the next! Can't wait to see the rest of the crew members ^_^ |

I would imagine that the directors of the One Piece TV series (say that in plurl because appraently there's 4 main directors for this show) planned the story to be paced this way just so there can be a... well, a conclusion in time for the fall. And by this fall, I think that will technically be 11 years since the One Piece anime started. |

| And so it happens that even one of my least-favorite arcs is kick-ass. I'm all for childhood flashbacks, but I wanna see Luffy's training already. I'd thought that they'd end the pre-timeskip stuff at 505, but it looks to be a bit longer. |

| Last week I was guessing that Episode 504 would just be a filler episode before Ace started out to sea. Wow, totally glad to be wrong! =D This is like breakneck pacing compared to the previous episodes. Not that the previous episodes were boring, but the content was very padded up. I wonder if there'll be any flashbacks on Ace or Shirohige's death next episode. I wouldn't mind it, since it's been so long since the Marineford arc now.. =) |

| Ok...ok, I was wrong... I think Sabo's alive... When looking at the manga I wasn't sure but once you found out Dragon was watching the Celestial being make his entrance there was no doubt about it. So happy the flashbacks over, I don't care that the time skip wont be here as soon, it's going to be good seeing the crew and how their handling things. |

| was awesome <3 by the way it has been bothering me not knowing what could the 9th and 10th crew member would be as luffy said that he wanted 10 crew members. Zoro-Swordsman Sanji-Cook Usopp-Marksman Nami-Navigator Robin-Archaeologist Chopper-Doctor Brook-Musician Franky-shipwright~handyman thats a total of 8 crew members and im not counting in the Captain. all i can think off for the 9th is that he or she would be a strategist. but what about the 10th? got any idea folks? :D |

| haha Zoro gets a special appearance of the time after Sabo was killed and it looks like the past is finally over and we are back to the present . I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire arc both the humor and emotional moments though i hope that luffy manages to get back to his crew ! |

| Luffy said he needed about 10 crew members. I always included luffy thinking only 1 more would join. Now it looks like there will be 2 more members joining. |

| Sabo wouldn't join up with Luffy because of the same reason Ace didn't. They left Dawn Island at separate times to have separate adventures. |

Also, to all of you who have this crazy idea Jenbei will join Luffy, your nuts... Jenbei doesn't fit the Characteristics of a straw hat and seriously, that would be dumb since he could defeat Luffy's crew at their current state. Just consider Jenbei to be a guide , kind of like Rayleigh... Hm where could he be right now? Probably swimming to where Luffy is Xd, like that would ever happen :P |

| I think Sabo is still alive because all they showed was his hat, they didn't show him dead...and usually in OP, they don't die! It'll be interesting if Luffy ends up meeting Sabo in the future Anyway! Awesome episode! I really liked seeing how Luffy started off his journey with a tiny boat and ended up with awesome nakama and a huge boat of course :D |
| Lol god's in the details. Them showing Luffy in the flashback wanting 10 Nakama makes me remember he said that before in the series. Now I wonder if we're getting one more (since they're currently nine, Luffy included) or two (sans Luffy, making it 8 Nakama around him). I wonder who they're gonna be. Oh lords I want it to be Sabo. That they'll find him and he'll join, filling the quota. So appropriate. Of course after a long saga in which he gets over whatever it is that's holding him back. If he's with Dragon, I actually think it'll work in everyone's advantage, seeing what One Piece holds to it - it's not just a treasure, and Robin seems to have already figured out part of it - it's the truth about everything. Sending Sabo to be with Luffy to find One Piece and the truth of the world will add up all too much. Another thing I really liked is seeing Dragon's supposed ties to the dojo Zoro grew up in. It's quite brilliant in my opinion and makes all the more sense, seeing how inside the crew, Zoro's the other leading male other than Luffy. By tying him to the whole Revolutionary business even through the proxy which is the dojo, they're further justifying his presence in the series. Now just to see what connections Dragon has with Zeff and we're all good with the crew's three main fighters ^_^ One thing's for certain, they couldn't have found a more terrible way to step out of the flashback. "And now - we flash forward to Luffy mourning Ace's death" @A@ lit3ewhoity3hpyeywpouym4l5wgk-0erg jlej0t34!!! It really connects to what they showed in the opening though, with Luffy standing opposite to the straw hat. Standing opposite to his promise to Shanks, as well as to the crew whose symbol the straw hat became. Now he just needs to get a grip and get that "push" from Ace so he can move on. Done with the flashback; cue the real emotional trauma >A> And now, for a picture from somewhat better days. |
| Well I'm glad this arc is finally over it was starting to drag a little but it was good for the most part and I enjoyed the expansion of the story at times. |

Me, as a manga viewer I try to not go to far from the anime. Currently, I still haven't gotten to the point Luffy gets to fishermen island, for now I'm waiting for the crew to be reunited in the anime. Also, to what you said earlier about Sabo being in the crew... Why the *** would you want him to be in the crew? Anyway, it's impossible :P Sabo wanted to be a doctor or something :P don't need him. |
