| good first episode. only thing I don't like is the Ganta's voice. too girly, ... of coures a woman does a his voice. it just annoys me. haven't checked out the manga but definitely might after this is over. interesting. guess we'll find out more of what's going on soon. |

| A very good start really. another good job done for Manglobe and my the god, the censoring at the murder scene is killing me, atleast it still visible but i want it genuine, i'll definitely wait for the BDs. ^^ my favorite scene is when that inmate died, they showed the characters that will play important roles in the story along w/ that high pumping background music. ^^ |

| This was pretty cool. I just hope it turns out better than Gantz did. When it comes to the censoring, I don't remember seeing any at the murdering, just in the courtroom where his cursing was beeped (unless you're referring to the screen going white). |

| Bullshit. Yeah... one kid was able to kill 29 other students, decapitating them and ripping them in pieces. I'm not impressed by this. The plot is paper thin, and I figured out who the red guy was by the end of the episode. Yes, it's THAT obvious, but I won't spoil it. So... the only thing this anime has going for it is the violence. The plot and premise are stupid: one big battle royal, diguised as a carnival. |

| AWESOOOOME, i fcking knew this was gonna be an awesome show, well im reading the manga so i kind of expected this lol anyway, this was really good, BUUUUT i dont like animation or the art. it doesnt look like the manga's art style, well i guess thats okay because THANK GOD they made SHIRO look like Ganta's age range. in the manga she looked like 17 yrs old -,- AND i really like the ED song. it was the same singer/band in Eureka 7 ED (i think the 4th ED song E7) was there an OP in this episode? btw, is there an uncensored of this episode? i was expecting some gory scenes but the one i watched was censored -,- |

| As a fan of the manga, I've been looking forward to this, but I have a feeling the anime won't be as good...I think by having rock bottom expectations, it will lessen the blow if the adaptation turns out shit...but be a good surprise if it turns out great. Already I can tell I don't like Ganta's voice. Wait, I just checked the voice actor for it - Paku Romi. I was thinking to myself "He sounds like Ed...". Guess that's why. I'll give Ganta's voice a chance then, since Paku Romi is a great voice actor. I don't care about the censoring, since I'm not watching this show just for the gore. Him getting arrested for the class dying makes me rage. There's no way a kid could destroy the classroom that bad. But watching him get beat up by the angry parents made me laugh a bit, I'm terrible. Dat Hanazawa Kana. Shiro has white eyelashes. I've never noticed that before. Makina has always reminded me of Erza from Fairy Tail. Ganta's powers look really cool animated. Lol @ the guy about to kill someone for candy. Sounds crazy if you don't know what the candy is used for in this show. The first ep was pretty good, looking forward to more. Worried that the ending for this show is gonna suck though. |

| Shiro really reminded me of Nessa, so that was pretty cool, and Shiro herself is pretty cool and cute!!!! So far I like how it starts, have not read the manga, so I'll be enjoying the show for whatever it brings. Usually if people complain about how it deviates from the manga or if its not completed, I go and read the manga and judge it on all its own. Anyways looking forward to the next episode. |

| i dont know how they convicted him even with that video (im guessing since the video mentioned a weapon that no one will be able to find), but honestly this episode was awesome enough that i dont even care about that. |
| I thought it will be best anime of the season and it turned out to be great but I hate this "Boy" like in first half of Eureka Seven. His mental state makes me want him to die but it will be all right if he change and start to think like it was in Euraka Seven. |
| What thorough investigative efforts lmao. Arresting the sole survivor. It's pretty hard to believe that the police thought he was capable of blowing IN a window on the 3rd floor and dismembering 29 people lol. |

| His conviction didn't bug me nearly as much as it did in the manga. Here they actually made an effort to make it convincing with that leaked video and all. My only problem with that phone scene was how conveniently it falls out of Mimi's father's pocket and begins playing. I like the soundtrack so far, really stands out to me and I love the ED song (my favorite of the season), but it ended up being accompanied by a disappointing slideshow. I feel this episode improved upon the manga; the writing just seems a little better to me. |

| At first I was disappointed but it was actually well done. Only complain I have is that it's cen. So far it doesn't feel rushed so that's pretty good. Overall: 7/10 I'm in lag city, sry if it's x2 post |
| I loved how much more was put into the plot of the beginning with the trial, compared to the anime the manga felt rushed, I'm glad manglobe did this, Deadman Wonderland is turning out better than I thought it would. 5/5 loved it. |
