Hope the ep will be better than the 1st crossover though.. dont get me wrong, i liked it but it kinda looked like toriko was stronger than luffy and i dont agree with that :P |

| ohh okay. so they took the one piece timeslot 4 the crossover. good then we dont hav 2 wait much longer =) but what happens with the toriko timeslot. do they broadcast it again? xD |

| Very good one (Even it was again boring crossover with Toriko) episode still. Luffy used again that freaking strong Elephant gun :D If I remember right, there was stronger boss on first crossover with Toriko (Was that on episode 49x?, don't remember) And actually there wasn't actually boss, just small ones with little more strength :D Let's say.. hmm 3/5 |

| I didn't like this....Toriko (the anime; not character) is not enjoyable in my opinion. I am bored even when One Piece (one of my favorites) is with it... |

| Really didn't want to watch this becasue it was a crossover with Toriko. For some reason, I don't like it. Hopefully next week we can get back to the story of One Piece |

| I wanted to like this more than I did, unfortunately. It's not because this some sort of "waste of time" but because the special last year was just so much better. This special focused too much on Toriko, the Straw Hats didn't really do a lot, which is disapointing. |
| I love both Toriko and One Piece so got nothing against these crossovers, although, admitted, they are fillers. But that's ok every once in a while. I liked the first crossover more but this wasn't bad either. And for those still confused: the cross over was AN HOUR LONG, which means it aired on both Toriko and One Piece's timeslot and the ep is in two parts as Toriko ep51 and OP ep542. |

| Pretty shitty episode. Toriko looks like a damn boring anime tbh, the main character alone looks so... dull/cliche/80s... Can't believe some people are suggesting it should be one of the big 3 anime... 2/5 |
| Hey, now. Don't knock the show till you've watched it. It's levels of absurdity alone make it worth watching. You do not take it seriously, it's not meant to be taken seriously. It doesn't even take itself seriously. ^^; And the food and the descriptions of the food are amazing. That said, One Piece, while about the only show I can see Toriko even marginally fitting in with, does not fit with it very well. I love them both, and both times in the crossovers all I could think was that Luffy's crew is being made weaker and too many Toriko characters too conveniently show up. Especially Zebra this time. He's barely even been mentioned in the show so far, and they haven't even gotten to that part of the story yet! They have to get through Melk Stardust first. All in all, the crossovers are very contrived, and they make both shows look more lame than they are. |

| I finally watched it and I guess it was okay. But still... they cud hav done a much better job and Luffy had again no time to shine. Sure he used gear3 and the elephant gun but we all know what luffy ca accomplish if he goes all out. so every enemy they had to face shud hav been a piece of cake imo. toriko on the other hand has not much more to offer than we hav seen in this crossover. |

| It was a pretty typical crossover. It wasn't bad for what it was but it's not what I want to see right now. Back to Fisher Tiger and Otohime please. |

| Ugh, that was an ordeal. I'm glad Chopper is okay. The disease was interesting but it really would have been better in my mind to air this after the Fishman Island Arc considering this disease was caused by him being in the deep sea for too long. But you have to put the episode wherever you can fit it in, I guess. You know I actually started watching the next One piece episode in between watching parts of this one just so I could keep my interest in this ep long enough to get past it and back into the Fishman Island Arc. I've watched a few eps of Toriko but apparently this is the 52nd episode of Toriko and I'm thinking that aside from the interesting supporting cast - who were briefly introduced in the earlier crossover - I've got to watch around 52 eps of Komatsu whining for Toriko to save him and the same plot where they have to get an ingredient, it's guarded by some stupid animal, animal is defeated, they eat the ingredient, and a majority of the time Toriko says he won't put it in his full course menu, then they begin all over again. Okay, I'm being pretty cynical, but even so, I'm starting to think Toriko will end up staying in my 'on hold' list permanently and I'll watch episodes here and there. Screw it, I'm on a roll here, I want to also make a comparison between Komastu and Usopp considering this is probably one of the best places to put it in lieu of creating a separate thread. Usopp wasn't the strongest or bravest of characters in the beginning, he was nothing more than a cowardly liar - hah, I nearly put lion there - but he had great skill and potential as a sniper and could at least muster up the courage to fight back. Maybe its different in the Toriko series but I cannot imagine Komatsu fighting back. He seems to have some enthusiasm as he was running along and staying in front of everyone else but he quickly shrunk back when faced with that chilli sauce creature or whatever it was. It must be his desire to see the ingredients in their natural growing habitat to inspire him to create great dishes that pushes him forwards but if he truly wants to create a satisfying meal he should at least attempt to get at the ingredients himself. I mean at the start all he was doing was sitting in a boat fishing - and whining - while waiting for Toriko to do all the heavy lifting when the beast came along. He just irritates me, I guess, and I don't have very high expectations for him or any real desire to get back to that series in a hurry. Overall I guess this ep was an okay break from the main storyline but nothing I was desperate to watch. |

| As boring as these Toriko crossovers are as they feel like a watered down and pointless display of Toriko's world and some shallow character interactions, they aren't all bad. The idea of going in the Mush Room tower and having each floor be a different season and having each group deal with their beast in a different way, like having Usopp run around the tree, that was charming and fun. It didn't do anything wrong like writing the characters poorly outside of refusing to do anything interesting with them. And, it has some cute moments, like Usopp's big grin when he took credit for making the tiger paste, Chopper eating at the end, or everyone cheering together near the end with that artsy overlay. If I didn't have a bad sleep last night I'd have considered skipping this episode but since I knew I hardly had to pay attention to it I decided to let it play in the background. It should be great to get back to Fisher Tiger’s story. |

| Wasn't the biggest fan of this. Zebra's Sound Bullet was badass as hell, though! The concept of Food Beasts and Gourmet Hunters is a very interesting thing but the less-than-stellar execution of it in these crossovers makes me hesitate on watching it. Next episode's gonna hit hard, I know it! |
