| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A: Dat Ass Holu fuck, what a depressing episode for Madao. The monologue just held a ton of emotion; I love episodes like these. It definitely rivals that one episode where Madao was a project and wouldn't grow. The lifeline reminds me of the first Millionare winner, John Carpenter, where he called his father that he's about to win a million. |

| I was hoping too, but this season should end at ep 252 and there's no way it'll be covered in 3 eps. They probably don't even have enough of the budget left to animate it anyway. |

| I really liked this episode. It blended perfect Madao comedy with a pretty touching story. Otoshidama episode is next week. I'm really excited for when they do the Kintama arc though. |

| Slumdog Millionaire Gintama version. Complete with memory flashbacks on where Madao had heard all the answers before. This weeks episode had a good mix of comedy and serious bits. |

| For some reason, I find these Madao episodes very depressing, I just feel so bad for him. All throughout the question montage I was hanging for the punchline, and it didn't disappoint. And is Gintama really ending this season? Though I can see why it would seeing as the anime seems to be catching up with the manga real fast, and with the way some people are putting it, this Kintoki arc sounds epic so I hope that they do animate it some time. |
