Felt bad for the priestess tbh. She was bearing this responsibility and her superiors were not pleased. So yeah, an imminenet battle seems to begin soon yikes. |

| Raphtalia still exists!! Despite her position as a glorified attack dog for the government, Mini-Sadeena apparently really cares about the citizens of Q Ten Lo. Also gotta love those totally trustworthy homicidal soldiers who were working for the government until five minutes ago. Then there's a better look at arc's villian Makina. Just take Bitch, slap a pair of furry ears on her, and call it a day. Overall, a very strong showing for Raph. She'll keep the peace, but refuse to back down from what she believes in. Her road to become Empress is bearing fruit. |

| Ngl, while I do enjoy this season so far, a "defensive battle" as a conclusion doesn't look satisfying to me... Makina is cruel indeed, and B***h's voice actress definitely nailed it, but did her first appearance since E1 genuinely happen on this very page of the light novel? I feel like it would've looked better had she also made a slight appearance in the previous two episodes. Wonder if they'll immediately announce a 2nd cour (but it seems unlikely). The art director also needs to be protected at all costs. |

| A new emperor is born! Well, sorta. Obviously Makina war mongering ass wasn’t gonna allow that peace deal to go thru. I think our new water miko is the biggest victim, poor thing just wants what’s best for her people and did the right thing in negotiating with raphtalia, but now she had to fight on a side she knows is wrong in a battle she knows is lost, all because of some power hungry maniacal bitch. Speaking of bitch, her seiyuu nailed that performance. Fitting we get a defensive battle as the finale here. Wouldn’t be a shield hero story otherwise lol. |

| So proud of my girl, Empress Raphtalia.🛐 Her resolve and determination to just not resolve personal issue but to protect the people is worthy to be a leader. Well classic case of a corrupt regency. Makina is evil yeah but even if that's a child calling him innocent is lunacy. Both deserved to die. Honestly I want to see a big war to end this arc it's been amazing so far the best thing since S1 but hiy need to close out in a good way. The Isekai part (2nd half of S2) was also very promising at start before it ruins the end. Hopefully this will be different as I really enjoyed this and reminded why this series still is so good.. Damn Motayasu now has filolial loli harem himself🫡 |

| Motoyasu and his addiction to Filo is so strong that he has his own group of loli Filoials following him. Not only do I find that amusing, but it also makes me want to protect Filo from him at all costs. XD The talk between Raphtalia and Shildina, the water empress, went a lot smoother than I thought it would and it did look like things could be resolved without any fighting. Sadly, that was too good to be true, as Shildina's attempts to negotiate with the current emperor was derailed thanks to Makina, or Bitch 2.0 to be more accurate. Her seiyuu performance was impressive, which helps to make me hate her character even more. Fighting seems inevitable, so hopefully Naofumi's group can hold their ground. Before that, they have to deal with a pissed off Shildina. Here's hoping that she allies herself with Naofumi and joins the fight to take down Makina and the current emperor. |
| Ohh, this really is starting to rush things off like season 2 and 3, isn't it? This whole episode felt rushed, with no worldbuilding, just giving us some narration instead. Where is the whole character development we got in some episodes this season, and we used to get in season 1? And there are so many unexplained stuff. Did the heroes just receive a new abillity by touching a stone in a foreign country, where there isn't much of a connection to the Heroes? They completely rushed over the old capital "retrieval", and it was quite easy for Raphtalia getting that buff. It's hard to understand why the Majesty just does whatever Makina wants, since, well, he is the Majesty, ok he's a kid, but he doesn't want to do what Makina wants, and it's not like she could do much to him (or if she can, they could have showed it already), so this whole drama just seems weird and hard to relate. I wonder what the Water Priestess is going to do now, will she try to "honour" His Majesty? |
| Naofumi's party main plot: zzZZzzZZZzzzzzzzzZzzz Motoyasu's subplot: HOOOOOOOLY SHIT LMAO 🔥🔥🔥 For real tho, need more Motoyasu lore, bro is so crazy for Filo he went gacha mode (eggs) off-screen and got his own filolial queens as daughters lmao, wasn't expecting that! Raphtalia did in 1 episode what Naofumi has struggled to achieve en 4 seasons. I like Shildina, sadly she is also an orca, nothing against the animal but damn does that transformation look ugly. We finally see the emperor and is just a coward ass child, lameee, why does everything in this show has to be about kids and furries now, I mean it has always been like that at some extend but now it's the entire plot. And that woman Makina, yeah she is the boss here, but she is nothing special, her character is just another BITCH, literally, they even have the same hair, like they didn't even try lol |

Spear Lolicon seems to have a really interesting sub plot of his own, I grew to like how we only ever see small snippets of what he is doing This entire show is weirdly good, way better than I expected. Its 4 seasons in but its still interesting in a way and finds new stuff to do. Its not even like the side plot feels like filler to delay the main plot with the waves, as there is clearly a lot of focus on it. |

| Bruh, I just can't. Makina is just Malty but in furry version smh. EDIT: Wait. They both share the same VA. Does that mean...? Oh hell nah! Weird pacing once again. Mainly during the second half with a fair amount of stuff happening in the span of a few minutes. And F in advance for those poor Filolial lolis, btw. May Fitoria protect their purity while they travel with the Lolicon Hero. |

@Comander-07 coincidence or not the person responsible for the storyboard of episode ten of season 4 was also responsible for the storyboard of episode 10 of season 3. he is good.
