For those who don't know, a while ago Kadokawa said that it would start increasing the amount of anime in the year, this current summer 2025 season is full of generic and uninteresting Isekai/Fantasy anime and this repeats throughout the year, honestly the only fantasy anime this season that are worth watching are Clevatess and Silent Witch, the rest are all average to below.

So here is my criticism, there are so many better mangas/LN to be adapted or even directors who want to make their own original anime, but just because Isekai/Fantasy is currently the "darling" of the moment, studios are increasingly producing low-quality anime of this type where out of 10 released per season only 2 or 3 are really good.

So quantity over quality really makes more profit? What do you think about this? If you've already watched Kimetsu no Yaiba, you know that it only generated so much profit because of the large investment they made in this anime.

Tate no Yuusha disappointed me with what they did with the adaptation from the second season onwards compared to the Light novel, so I stopped watching since the third season and I haven't watched a single episode of this fourth season.

Honestly, I've been enjoying Shield Hero, but season 2 was indeed a shit show. I also don't enjoy Silent Witch at all, but I really enjoy Clevatess.

I do think that they need to stop dishing out so many different anime every season and instead put all their work into 2 or 3.

I don't necessarily think you need top-notch animation for an anime to be good. Plenty of my favorite anime have pretty mediocre animation at best.

@Chalc_ I can't disagree with you, because I really enjoy watching anime with low quality animation, but in reality I watch everything, it can have the worst rating or the highest that I watch lol

the 4th season is the best adaptation to the novel since season 1, s3 was good too, but it did cut a lot

I genuinely started thinking about the answer to the question then I read what OP had to say.

Once again it was 'I don't like X. They should make Y instead'.
