| Funny how Gen always remembers his past, no matter where he is and it comes back with solo camping. Shizuku looked great this episode imo. She had a special outfit this time with a colorful look outdoors. I know it's not much to build into the storytelling but the chemistry between them is still solid. |

| Shizuku is so freaking pretty in her traditional get up! This episode was all about Gen though and it’s always nice to lean what makes him tick. As someone who was best friends with my dad as well, I really relate to the void left in his life after his father died and that lost feeling he had. But dawg losing your girl because of your commitment to solo camping is CRAZY π bro just leaving her in bed after fucking so he could go camping had me dying. I can’t wait to see how Kana interacts with Shizuku and Gen now that she’s back in Japan! |

| Wait, wait! Fan service or not fan service—I don’t know! That scene, that relationship moment! Was it really necessary? Yes, Kana looked like a great addition to the anime… but why did it appear in that way? I honestly don’t see any, any, any reason for that scene! Anyway, I took a screenshot of it below in case you’re curious. As for the episode, it was a million times more enjoyable than the previous one. The art became acceptable, but the first part of the episode was really boring. Yes, Shizuko was absolutely beautiful, but what’s even better is that we got to know Gin, his past, his father, his friends—pretty much everything. The episode was good, I won’t deny it… But we have to say our usual phrase: see you next week! Until then, keep smiling. The real question now! Will you choose Kana or Shizuko? hmmm choose wisely. |

Oh no! I hate how Gen is not a virgin anymore... at least on his frontal side, I'll have his rear side soon!
Anyway, I like how Gen is not rich, considering that camping is usally a rich people's hobby, but Gen's room is quite modest. He's not poor either since he also order a lot of camping equipment online. I also assume he's saving money to buy a land for his own campsite.

| A little bit of latent pyromania, yeah I recall that among me and my camping buddies. Even with backyard camping, the campfire was the big show. Goddamn, I would love to have a cute woman in a hakama show up when I am cooking out. In a Yukata with fewer layers would be even better. " ,as long as they are not too big" is not the paradigm here in Texas. With our gas industries, a long-reach butane lighter is the go to for igniting small fires, and for large one, well, look up "pear burner". First part of Gen backstory with his family explains his emotional isolation, solo camping, and scar. And hot damn, that affair with Kana, unremembered high school friend to drinking buddy to BJ at 18:56 to 18:57 to sex to break up in a short time space. Both her ambitions and VERY likely his stunted emotions contributing to that. Goddamn refreshing to see that story told directly, frankly, and so concisely. They could has gone a bit more into the breakup factors, but we might get more flashback next week. This episode upped the story telling for this show an entire level. |

| Was a good episode. I don't even know how you pass out headfirst into a campfire and stay unconscious. That was an interesting explanation for Gen's scar. He really owes that campsite owner a lot. It was nice to find out that Gen has a dream of owning his own campsite own day. That fits well. Kana is going to be an interesting character. The introduction of an ex-girlfriend is somewhat unexpected, given his social skills. Obviously, she's attractive. Going to see what kind of problems she's going to cause for Gen-Shiuzku going forward. |

| While this episode explained how Gen got his scar I was still surprised that he passed out on top of the campfire, figured the pain would've woken him up. Also, apparently he had a girlfriend before and I noticed that she was not happy that he did not invite her to go camping with him, I can only imagine the potential fireworks when/if she finds out that another girl is camping with him, younger too... |
