| Ep 1-2 screened/leaked in advance. Yeah, I think we all knew this was gonna happen, but still, can’t help but feel a little disappointed. At least we skipped the whole “Kitagawa thinks Gojou hates her” phase, and he actually stepped up to help her out, even if it was all just a misunderstanding in the end. But yep, in the world of anime, something as minor as getting splashed with a drink apparently equals a full-blown cold, so you know what time it is: the classic sick episode! I was fully expecting the usual tropes, "wipe my sweat" ecchi moments considering this is this show we're talking about. Surprisingly though, it was a more grounded take, actually showed how rough it is to be seriously sick while living alone. That was unexpectedly touching for this series ngl. Gojou taking care of Kitagawa was simple, but sweet. Still, I’m pretty sure they rearranged some stuff here. Going from that to a totally random aquarium date felt a bit jarring. That said, it was important since it introduced the new cosplayer. Honestly, would’ve made more sense to start the season with that, this is a cosplay anime after all, but hey, better late than never. And this isn’t just any cosplayer, either. Nope, we’re talking classic “guy crossplaying as a girl” comedy. Yep, the ol’ trap gag. And since our new friend doesn’t come equipped with the honkers… well, guess what the next goal is: time to scout for huge honkers! Sidenote, I’m actually surprised they’ve managed to keep the quality up for this episode. It doesn’t have a ton of movement overall, but when it does move, man it moves. The AD was really solid too, surprisingly. Still wondering which of the three shows will collapse first. |

I'm totally soaking up the karaoke party atmosphere, but I still feel for Gojou as he navigates socializing. It's pure gold to see Marin get so flustered by the dating rumors with him. And the moment Kikuchimitsu? started laying into Marin, and Gojou came to her rescue? That's when you know he's just a genuinely good person. My heart just melts. Then, when Marin falls ill, and Gojou, despite his shyness, bravely goes to her house... that really shows his character. And her sick voice? So incredibly cute and soft-spoken. |

| The karaoke party is still going on, and i just like this atmosphere, but Gojou still struggles to socialize. I like how Marin gets flustered because she was thought to be dating Gojou. The moment when Marin gets yelled by Kikuchimitsu? and Gojou saves her—ahhh, Gojou is truly a kind of guy. and also Marin is sick, and somehow Gojou bravely comes to her house. Marin's sick voice sounds cute and soft-spoken, ehehehe. |

| Of course Crunchyroll mess up the subs yet again lol. Deeply unserious company. Anyway, hate agenda aside I liked this episode quite a bit. The misunderstanding with Marin’s hairdressers was so funny, Gojo is adorable I love how protective he is of Marin. It was short, but him taking care of Marin while she was sick was also one of my fave parts of the show so far. He’s so dependable and considerate, everyone talks about Marin being the ideal otaku gf, but Gojou’s lowkey the ideal bf. I love seeing characters like Himeno who challenge gender norms too. His cosplay was so cute. The attention to detail, makeup, his entire demeanor just fit it so well. Hopefully we see more of him! That ED is so cute!! |

| That scene where Gojou interrupted that talk with those guys was funny it looked like he was hitting on the guy. I also liked to scene where he was trying to help with Marin's clothes and the first t-shirt he picked was the strange Sizuku one in a erotic pose. He didn't have to hide on the balcony with Marin's friends came tho. Also the time in class waiting for a response must have been nerve wracking. |

| Pro episode. Continuing off of episode 1 we get Gojou freaking out because he thought that Marin was getting hit on. I would've thought the same thing if I was in his position as well. Then Gojou gets a kiss by Marin, hell yeah and Gojou thought she was mad which, damn. Marin got sick and so our boy helps out Marin with everything, love our boy Gojou fr. The cosplayer they met was really cool actually, I like her. THE ED HAD AN OSU REFERENCE IN IT, WHAT????????/ 5/5 |

| That Marin chuu, kawaii. Gojou thought she was clicking her tongue lol. Gojou taking care of Marin was wholesome and sweet. Sick Marin is also adorable. And here comes the trap and ofc it's Murase Ayumu voicing him lol. You can equip boobs, the first time I learnt of this was from irl cosplay and I was shocked to say the least. Also Marin being excited to see oppais will never be not hilarious to me. Btw get yourself a girl; that looks at Gojou kun like Marin does.  Cute ED song and visuals btw. |

| Gonna have to rewatch this again later on as the subs are so far out of sync it's ridiculous. Finally saw it properly and what a sweet episode it was Gojo-kun is such a sweetheart for going to check on Marin when she was sick poor girl needed looking after. |

Another episode that flew by, especially the segment in which Gojo took care of sick Marin was cute. Loving everything about this adaptation. And crossplayer entered the chat. P.S. | Episode wasn't near the first episode in terms of being visually memorable and super lively, but it was still well done and if this is the 'normal' standard, then it's a really good one to have. The content was also kinda forgettable this time around, and pacing is actually jarring again in this episode somewhat from the initial scene, to the sick segment and after (had to address some rearrangements this episode with the Himeno Amane stuff brought into this episode - which I was so bored of this episode and even in the manga). The first episode I think highlighted more of the good parts of My Dress Up Darling from the first season, and this episode maybe highlighted more of the negatives I had. Since that season had episodes that were actually good, lively and memorable, and others which were really forgettable and kind of vapid. At least CloverWorks can still make it pretty. |

| Oooh, the title of the next episode suits me perfectly—I’m really excited... Honestly, I *loved* this episode so, so much… and I think I’m going to write a really long comment! That’s the rule—if my comment is long, it means I’m *very* happy! And that the anime as a whole is a 10/10, not just the episode—even if it hasn’t fully aired yet. The episode starts with a question: are Gojo and Marin dating??? Honestly, a fair question, though I assumed it was still vague since they meet outside of school… But Marin’s jokingly pouty face when Gojo denied it defensively was super cute! Even cuter was Gojo’s reaction when he saw a man—or woman (I’m not even sure anymore with this anime!)—scolding Marin… His defensive stance was sweet and sincere. *The kiss scene*—aaaaaaaah!! I didn’t expect that at all! It’s so early!! In episode 2??? What are they planning for the rest of the season then?? And of course, we finally got that classic romance anime trope: when one of the lovers falls sick and the other takes care of them… We finally saw Marin sick, and I have to ask—how did the voice actress pull off sounding ill so convincingly?! Voice acting is such an impressive skill—it’s definitely not easy. And the cutest thing ever was hearing adorable Marin repeatedly calling out, “*Gojoooo-kun!*” I missed that so much!!! As for the cosplay event and the man cross-dressing at the aquarium—I won’t comment on that… What can I say, really. A transgender person… and within our culture as Arabs, we don’t support such things, so… pass. No comment. That’s it—enjoy the frames I captured 👇 and let’s look forward to next week together! |

| Proud of my boy Gojo for defending Marin. Albeit it was just a major misunderstanding. I hope he finds out Marin likes him soon. And Marin needs to know Gojo doesn't hate her. Probably won't happen anytime soon tho. Ah, they didn't do the zoomed-out thing with the OP again. I guess that was done only because there was no ED in the last episode? That makes way more sense. Feels good to actually see the OP this time. The new ED is great too. Maybe even better than the first one. But there's still something a bit nostalgic about ED1 that I still love. Marin is cute even when she's sick lol. It's too bad we didn't get to see Marin taking care of Gojo when he was sick tho. I really can't get tired of this trope. It's just too wholesome. Yeah, that cosplayer was giving weird vibes from the start. Not surprised that he's a guy. The production value of this season is so fucking good. I hope they keep this up. It's genuinely insane that CloverWorks intentionally planned to air 3 different shows in the same season at the same time. I still find it wild to believe. Don't think any other studio flexed this hard before. I just hope the animators are treated fairly... |
