| Teachers in this series can’t be normal as well.. though this is already a well established fact in this series, but yeah somehow, I thought this new one would be “normal”, except she also overthinks the hell out of anything, plus she already has an in-built trauma for Raidou and Aharen. Really the perfect replacement for Toubaru-sensei lol. Though I’d advise her to stay away from Toubaru-sensei, you see, she’s already sooo deep down that “esteemed” hole, that yeah, there’s no way out for her anymore xD Btw, these guys being in third year already does feel like we’re actually really close to the end now. I mean we kinda started having these stuff about the future and all from the last episode itself, but yeah knowing we all have like couple and couple more episodes to go, we’d have more of it going forward, except I hope not everyone has to go through their rival(s) just to scream their dream out loud inside their heads. Btw, Oshiro really just thinks about Aharen, doesn't she? xD |

| The whole gang has leveled up to the third year of their high school and got a new homeroom teacher, Henzan, who also just happens to be another abnormal one like the previous teacher. She also got nosebleeds, but unlike Toubaru, she gets them from the yuri vibes. I love how she needed to read the curriculum guidelines to know what to do in an unfamiliar situation, only for the guidelines to be completely useless in the end. So we're having future talks now? Well, with the first episode of the season, they entered their second year, and with the ninth episode, they’re already in the third. So we might see the series end with this season, but that would be too short... right!? I don't want it to end. At least one more season with them, then they can end... maybe after that season. The show is a goof with their abnormal daily activities and interactions. One of Mitsuki's many rivals, Aragaki, appears and scares Raidou to death, continuing the talk about the future and what path to take in life. The episode really showed how much Mitsuki has always loved Reina since their childhood days. Her talk about doing Reina's hair for her marriage was so sweet, and it made Reina blush. Reina looked so cute in those flashbacks, so small and adorable. |

| Another really sweet and wholesome episode! Not really any Reina and Raido today, but the side characters got a lot of shine. Loved all 3 skits. The teachers in this series need a spinoff badly, they’re so good and adding Henzan to the mix makes it even better. She reminds me sm of so many sporty tomboy style characters from seasonals past lol. The whole “esteem” thing is literally just “aura” 😂 Henzan might be a lil slow, but she gave some really solid advice to Oshiro about just following your heart and you can never go wrong. Tbh loved the Oshiro focus today, felt like she got shelved when Riku got introduced, who we barely saw today btw, but I liked learning about her past as a martial artist! Didn’t expect her to have a big rival show up like that! It’s cute how meeting Reina is what really changed her life making her wanna focus on doing hair and beautification than fighting. Absolutely nothing wrong with that and I’m glad Oshiro’s happy ❤️ “When you get married will you let me do your hair” we NEED that badly lol. Great episode |

| Nice to see the cast finally get to their senior year. Henzan sensei sure has the wrong image of Aharen and Raido. Still she has some reliable seniors to lean upon. Esteem sure is a a deadly force huh. Henzan's view on Oshiro's like she's a ninja lol. Still turns out that Oshiro had quite the rival in karate. Not to mention many other rivals as well. Looks like figuring out her own path is a complicated affair. |

| Another fun episode. The new teacher is an odd one, at least she doesn't cough up a ton of blood. Her design kind of reminds me of Hachiman's sister. She is a pretty cool teacher otherwise. Loved the Oshiro focus this episode, she deserves it. I really liked the part where she thought back to her younger days when fighting with that weird person, glad she has a job that she really wants to do. The ending was quite funny, other people came from different sports to I guess defeat her? 5/5 |

This episode sure was an esteem overload with new pairings emerging. Got some good laughs out of this one. The segment with Ooshiro was really sweet, but also intense since she got too many rivals xD @RobertBobert Not just them. With new pairings I meant that this was the first time we've seen an esteem reaction to other duos than Aharen and Raidou. So we got new esteem pairings if you will. And so that you don't get any wrong ideas, I'm not shipping Ooshiro and Tamanaha or anything. |

It's a sensei episode! It's all about teachers! No one was spared, not even Miya-sensei   A new teacher, tasting the dangers of too much esteem:  Momo-sensei got beaten too hard in this one. I have never seen this much blood due to the esteem in an episode    This was also Oshiro-san's episode  She can be a fine ninja, with superhero landings and all  But she's still vulnerable to Aharen's cuteness  |

| Henzan-Sensei is a new addition to this series as the new homeroom teacher for Aharen and her friends in their third year of high school. Henzan is pretty cute, especially with her exposed fang and her heart is in the right place when it comes to helping out her students. After seeing how Aharen and Raidou acts, she now knows how powerful the "esteem" is which has clobbered Tobaru-Sensei many times in the past and even now. One thing that Henzan did really well on was helping Oshiro to realise what she truly wanted to do once she graduates, which is for her to become a beautician. While having a firm goal for her future is great, she did gain a reputation as a strong sports competitor, which was shown with her rival from karate wanting to take her on. Their battle was pretty good, with Oshiro winning narrowly, but that led to her getting bombarded by other rivals from swimming, kendo, boxing and fencing. Oshiro is more talented than she probably realises, but I'm sure that she'll continue in doing these sports as a past time while training to become a professional beautician. =) |

But I'm starting to worry a little that the anime for some reason still hasn't gotten to that point by the time of episode 9 of season 2. @Marinate1016 This reminds me of the old days of Azumanga, when the teachers were sometimes even more popular than the original cast, lmao. Also note that while the old teacher reacted to a variety of stimuli for various reasons, lolis only react to the yuri vibes trigger. True yuri fans are always true to themselves :D. |

Got to say that I am enjoying Aharan-san much more than Komi-san which had so many similar themes. Aharan-san has twice the characterization for the MCs, three times it for the supporting characters, and 4 times the humor than Komi-san did. |

| Damn, this Oshiro chapter felt like a complete closure to her character arc. I wonder if they'll be able to close the entire manga by the end of this season. Because I doubt this manga will be able to get a movie like Takagi. If we had a teacher with straight and some yuri/super friendship goggles before, now we have a loli sensei with full yuri goggles, lmao. It's just amazing how rich the author's imagination is in depicting non-standard thinking, lmao. Especially if you add to your collection a karate prodigy with silly strategies or a gym teacher who doesn't like to play sports. But one way or another, I'm starting to worry more and more whether this season will be able to cover the sibling mess arc or not. After all, I've already managed to hype half the internet with this arc. @Ahohite-killer For them, this is already the norm, since in their universe, almost every creative person has a very specific, non-standard way of thinking, lmao. This is practically the main feature of this title. @FMmatron If you're talking about Oshiro x gyaru, although I don't remember if the story will do anything about it or not, this pairing has been around since the very beginning of the season. Starting with the opening, where they were the only nakama ship out of the three shown. |

| New school year, new teacher: Henzan-sensei is adorable, and that little fang makes her even cuter. It's hilarious to see how she panics when she doesn't know how to handle a situation and clings to the manual for guidance, but runs away when she realizes it won't do her any good. Her imagination has nothing to envy Raido's. And, of course, she's not spared from esteem either: this time, courtesy of Miyahira-sensei and Toubaru-sensei. Speaking of surprises, Toubaru-sensei turned out to be an amazing athlete. Given the amount of blood she has shed, one would expect her to be lousy, but somehow she excels. Meanwhile, Miyahira-sensei - the real *sports teacher* - struggles, which creates an ironic contrast. Still, her Yuri moments are top-notch. And then there's Ooshiro, an absolute portent. She's ridiculously talented in every sport, and the best female competitors want to take her on. Poor girl. Despite everything, she's still determined to fulfill her dream of becoming a hairstylist, and even thinks about doing Aharen's hair for her wedding. If that ever comes to life, I'll jump out of my chair. |

| I've said this before and I'll say it again, there must be something in the water in the area where this series takes place because everyone has an overactive imagination, including the newly introduced 3rd year classroom teacher lol. On that note I think the teacher Tobaru made a mistake by warning Henzan about Raido and Reina because from the get-go she was on the lookout for them although whether she was warned or not may not have made a difference since she got struck by their "esteem" and that seems to be an unstoppable force (at least for some teachers haha). |

| Loved the episode, another delightful mix of hilarity and adorableness as usual. I really liked the new teacher, Henzan, who seems to have caught Momo's "esteem disease", haha. She was hilarious, though not quite on Momo's level, Momo always cracks me up whenever she’s on screen, haha. On a more serious note, I’m glad Mitsuki finally decided what she wants to be in the future, a beautician, due to how happy she was braiding Reina’s hair in front of the whole class back in grade school, especially with everyone complimenting her styling skills, Reina included. It was so adorable! |
| Wasn’t expecting a new teacher character with Henzan as we’re getting close to the end of the season (it hurts to say that lol), and it’s kinda odd they got a new teacher to teach 3rd years, but I like the change so that’s not a big deal. Henzan had quite a few fun moments with the students, and I like that she had trouble understanding the “esteem” that Tobaru warned her about, to the point that she thought it was an attack too quick to see or even poison lol, but it looks like she eventually got the idea after witnessing the esteem of her students so many times, even a little bit from her fellow teachers as well. And it wasn’t just Henzan that got introduced in this episode, we also got Aragaki who was a past rival of Ooshiro’s in karate, she’s definitely very passionate but Ooshiro is already on the beautician path, so unfortunately for Aragaki, I don’t think she’s getting her rival back in the way she wanted, but at least she was left satisfied since Ooshiro still likes karate. It was also here we got a bit more on Ooshiro’s past with Aharen, really sweet stuff, nice origin story for Ooshiro’s dream career too, I wish I had the drive she does for that kind of thing lol. But Ooshiro can’t rest yet, she’s got many more rivals to satisfy, I guess being multitalented is a blessing and a curse. |

The return of the character of Toubaru-sensei is good news, but in this episode they wanted to do things in a big way with a novelty that surprised me and with great happiness I dare say. The narration flows smoothly also thanks to the character of Oshiro, all the episodes of this anime series should be like this. T_T 5/5 |

| Receiving "esteem" attacks from witnessing yuri moments between your colleagues? Sasuga, Henzan-sensei! Lots of focus on side characters this episode. Not to mention we even got the debut of a new character in the form of Henzan-sensei and gotta say she's just as entertaining to watch as Toubaru-sensei. And as for Oshiro, it sure was nice to see her concluding her respective character arc, even though she's not among my favorite characters in the show. |

Sure, she may have heard from Tobaru-sensei to look out for the both of them, but she would not expect to see both Tobaru and Miyahira being yuri to each other that this "esteem" truly is frightening lol. The teachers' training from Tobaru does the work, though with Oshiro and Tamanaha being close to each other, that "esteem" is hurting her a lot too. The career talks of the future surely had Henzan-sensei all classified for her students, though the yuri vibes continue to hit with a critical impact. The bloodlust from Oshiro's rival of Aragaki confronting her on why she decided to stop karate, though Oshiro has plans to follow her dreams instead, which does not bode well for the one who has followed in her footsteps. It's all for Aharen who helped her carry through her childhood days, and the favor is repayed, just like close friends in a Yuri-esque marriage lol. Treasure Oshiro more! |

| I'm just now realizing these threads skipped number 8 and are misnumbered. The dub's on episode 9! Aharen fans are living in the future... The new homeroom teacher Henzan-sensei couldn't have gotten a better first class to start her teaching career with. She learned a valuable lesson in esteem from Ms Tobaru. Ooshiro's competitive past resurfaces with Aragaki showing up. While Ooshiro is strong, her dreams lie elsewhere. I've got to respect her pursuing being a beautician even though her rivals are eager for a rematch lol. |

| Unfortunately the new teacher is just a less funny version of Toubaru-sensei, and having the whole episode focus on her only emphasises that fact. Part of what makes Toubaru-sensei funny is that she's usually used in small doses rather than being the focus of the episode, and it's a little sad that this second season has largely sidelined one of its funniest characters and now replaced her with the exact same character making the exact same jokes but way less funny. |
| Aragaki looks at least two weight classes below Mitsuki anyway. Don't think that would ever be a fair competition. Also, the new teacher has an upwards-facing fang? Not something you see everyday, especially outside of medieval fantasy. |
