| That was a hilarious chapter! Not only that, but the range of Denji's sequence of expressions during all of this was cleverly done and felt cinematic. Although what initially drew me to the series was the insane plot, world building, and over the top grotesque violence, these days it's CSM's sense of humor and writing that keeps me coming back. That being said, I feel a good battle is coming around the corner not too far from now. |

| @Green_Giorno Something tells me Yoru will get a surprise chainsaw pecker after removing Denji's in that dark alley. That dark alley can turn into a naughty corner way too quickly and I am not sure war can handle it. A girl shouldn't invite a guy talking about his stuff to a side street like that. Pay attention to the man's feelings and act accordingly. Is a place alone with just the two of them really where she wants to be in that kind of moment? |

Some of you are so confused by how important this chapter was for Denji coming to terms with his situation. He’s genuinely admitted that he’s a piece of shit for want of a better answer and all you can focus on is how many times he mentioned his dick.
Fujimoto even acknowledges the absurdity of the situation by Denji quite literally saying it isn’t funny and that he can’t keep his priorities straight because he’s such a mess.
His only surviving family is missing and he’s more concerned with getting his dick sucked. I think this is telling of the fact that Denji still really doesn’t know what he wants. He’s been a vessel and toy for so many people.
Is he Denji? Is he Chainsaw Man? His heart is quite literally not his own, and his mind is so far in the gutter that it seems impossible for him to come out clean.
Sure, the actual character dialogue is absurd and goofy, but the writing is so nuanced and strangely brilliant that I feel some of you need to remind yourself of the series your reading.
