| There have been many good remakes of older classics released in the recent years. While Hokuto no Ken anime is good as it is, it does feel oldschool and visually underwhelming in few scenes. High quality remake fitting modern standards would be fantastic to see. I have fingers crossed that the upcoming series will be something like that. I'm personally hyped about it. Hokuto no Ken is one of my favorite manga series of all time, so hearing about the next HnK anime project was a pleasant information. How about you? Are you excited about this anime project? Or perhaps you don't have your hopes high, as for, in example, in the end its quality can be below expectations? |
| Optimistic but still skeptical of its quality in bringing Hokuto no Ken to life with modern technology, there have been many half hearted and bad attempts in the past. Being a huge Hokuto no Ken fan i feel i will probably end up holding this remake to a pretty high standard (probably more than its necessary) so here's hoping they nail the OST and presentation as it seen in the manga but also pays its respects to the original anime's stylistic vision |

| This can be crap and I won't care. I watched Fist of the North Star as a child in 2010 and again in 2022; both times I didn't find the series underwhelming in any aspect. But if they take this more seriously than Berserk and Souten CG adaptations have been in the last decade, yeah, I'll fuck with that. |

| An 80s manga getting a new adaptation. Hmmm.. Well, if it's anywhere near as good as JoJo, Parasyte, or even Lotgh DNT then i'm all up for it. Haven't read it nor watched the old anime but i've always been interested in a manga that's influenced JoJo, Berserk and quite possibly even OPM which i loved them all. |
| If they are doing new adaptation that will be closer to manga, what would be point of censorship? If there is no blood, guts spilled and exploding heads we have a problem. One of the reason I enjoyed Shin Hokuto no Ken is they didn't hold back on gore at all. That is what I want to see from this upcoming anime. |
