| Poor Narita she thought she had the victory only to be taken over in the final sprint. Opera got a reality check but at least she seemed to handle it well and gave Vega a ovation. Vega was really having a hard time most of the episode but it was nice to see her winning she deserved it but so did Narita. Hoop Narita has better luck next time. |
| I'm sorry if this is heartless but Ayabe's motivations make no sense. She runs because her unborn sister liked running? What about herself? is she going to just live her life for her sister and not have a life of her own? And if that was the case wouldn't her sister have made friends or rival and not been a loner? It just makes no sense. |
| For anyone wondering, Narita Top Road crying at the end was referencing to his real life jockey Watanabe, who was crying in the cooldown room out of frustration. |

| Oh shit this episode went by fast, not expecting the derby to be done this quick tho. Poor Narita, she's betting all the stacks onto those derby. Too bad fate blessed Ayabe more this time. So let alone how silently frustrated Opera on the background. This is a pretty big sad lost for Narita as the audience first favorite. |

It made no sense and it felt shallow, cause at first I thought "oh, maybe they were sick and one died while donating something to the other".... but no, they weren't even born by then. So it's not like the sister decided to sacrifice herself for the girl, neither of them had a choice about it at all. It's still sad but considering her narrating, it makes no sense. I'm taking it as the survivor's guilt or whatever but yeah. but using that her sister loved running, that it was her dream and what she enjoyed doing the most 😅 how?? |
| Man, I felt that anguish over losing the race after giving everything. I knew the winner was gonna be Admire Vega because the episode focused more on her, but I was cheering for Narita Top Road and she's my favorite of the trio... |

| I like what they’re going for with Admire Vega’s story, but I couldn’t help but feel it didn’t make a lot of sense when she brought up that her sister loved running, like she wasn’t born, how could she love running lol, she coulda grown up to do something besides running for all you know. But like I said at first, I like what they were going for, and the way it compares to the real Vega is very cool. And because of the focus on Vega in this one, I saw her win coming, and not only because of that, but also because they were suspiciously not focusing on Vega during the final stretch when it was just Top Road and Opera O, but that didn’t stop it from being an amazingly intense race, I’ve probably said this again and again but I never get tired of watching these horse girls giving it their absolute all and being overwhelmed with emotion. It’s just a shame that despite Vega winning this one and deserving it, it meant that Top Road suffered immensely, her crying was heartbreaking to witness, you gotta wonder how it feels to break down on such a massive stage with so many watching too. But I imagine we will see Top Road win before this is over, this will be what inspires her once more to go for it, hard to believe I still got two more episodes of emotion filled horse racing to go with how heavy this one was, but I love it lol. |
