| This was a cute episode. The wailmer cries had me laughing especially the one that was catching serious air. 😂😂 Other than that I thought Wailord was going to evolve again. |

| PokéBalls probably wouldn't work on Wail anyway, as Goh already tried to catch a stuck Marshtomp (EP041) and the process was denied. But as the anime tends to ignore its own established rules when convenient (such as Gengar's intangibility, which incidentally will play a major role in the next episode), it worked as a self-conscious joke for us not to take the plot seriously nonetheless. Bullychu was my favorite part, I like to see Pokémon helping out and making decisions independently from the Trainer, it reinforces it as a character in its own right. Soundtrack for both the reunion and farewell of Lapras helped to instill more emotion in the scenes (Petalburg theme is probably one of the most nostalgic tunes of my life). Good to see all the returning Pokemon active during the story as well and finding more space than Snivy, Totodile, Snorlax and others were lucky enough to find. I just think Kingler and Marshtomp deserved a more dedicatory cut, like Sirfetch'd falling in style and surfing. |
| meeting the Lapras from many years ago, and that's a nice hug but she is troubled, probably because she is lost from her friends, or something happened to them... so Ash came with her they rode on her back until they reach an island...and sad pokemons, what could be happening? one of the wailmer got stuck in one of the many holes .... lol their faces when they were trying to see from far Latias is back lol i'm sure a big pokemon, like Steelix, could easily push it out, what's with all the thoughts? pikachu was sleeping but quickly got up and showed off his muscles lmao kingler, farfetch and pikachu will need to make a crack in that hole...but instead they were sent flying? lol the farfetch shield surfing was funny heracross brought him out of that hole , i swear his team today is a little strange lol Misty's idea? to fish the wailmer out of the hole? lol sasuga Kasumi with some help from Bayleaf, with her usual show of affection lol the fishing idea actually worked, i swear the rods would have broken but ok :D look at how happy whe wailmer is, jumping so high ok, i wasn't expecting this, it evolved into wailord and... got stuck again? holy f*, how dumb is that guy? :D actually, what about they just throw a pokeball at it? ... geez lmao Pikachu saw teamrocket, and he made a scary face HAHAHAHA the way he made team rocket help them, they are so bad :D next pokemon is Torterra (another grass type? dafuq is wrong with Ash? these team comps make no sense lol) Misty with her Gyarados, why didn't she use it earlier, together with Steelix to push the Wailmer out? geez everyone doing their best to pull, while Ash started to tickle it, a good thing to make the wailord do some movements and stop being stuck team rocket with the power boost HAHAHAHA the wailmer did some shiny bomb thing that broke the rocks, and while it got out, ashe got stuck inside team rocket getting rekt by pikachu tho, now they are inside the water without the top cover, this would be a good death scene hahaha to stop the water from rising, Lapras froze it, while wailmer did a little path for her to go inside and rescue Ash it's time for her to leave, together with the friends, leaving Ash to remember about using a pokeball LOL next episode, dealing with a ghost, and what better team member to have? gengar of course :D |

| this chapter was so simple yet so funny, pikachi is evil lol. to be honest I think there should be a lot to show and do before we close ash story and is wasted in chapters like these. I mean it was a good call to show lapras, but then there is primeape, pidgeot and of course butterfree. Ash should met all previous companions like he did with dento and so more... sigh is an end of a era. |
| Really cool Lapras episode where they helped Wailmer that was stuck, I especially like how the Team Rocket helped as well (with still bad intentions to get Pikachu after that but still xD) and that was hilarious how they thought that they could have caught it with a Pokeball instead of doing all that in the end |
