Personally I like the art of Hiro Mashima. The worlds he creates are fun too, my only complaint is his works have too much crying in them. :(
I also love Eiichiro Oda´s works too! My favorite author, however, is probably either Akira Toriyama or Hiro Mashima.

Tie between these three:

Shuzo Oshimi, Junji Ito and Hajime Isayama they all do things I love in regards to emotions and they've also made me feel things while reading their work and if a Mangaka can do that to me I will read anything by them.

Mashima is definitely up there. His art is really good. I'd also nominate Takeshi Obata, Kei Sasuga and Inio Asano. Apart from these names, I think Kazusa Yoneda deserves a mention. I find her CDs gorgeous.

Kusanagi Mizuho because I'm a huge fan of the Akatsuki no Yona series in which the manga is even better than the anime (which is generally the case anyway lol).

Natsume Ono - love her "loose" artstyle and unconventional stories
Takako Shimura - keeps a consistent theme of her works
Tatsuki Fujimoto - hm unorthodox, edgy and awesome art. loves how he incorporates pop culture and movie refs into his works.
Osamu Tezuka - revolutionary? I love many of his series.

Obata’s art is so iconic. I love the way he draws the eyes and the shading of the character’s hair. He makes everything look so badass. He also was really influential as a mentor to upcoming mangaka.

I know Tite Kubo but idk the other two, what are their works?

Kiyo Kuujo became my favorite from the panels she did for a manga called Trinity Blood. She also made her own manga called Zone-00. Both works have similarities with having a bunch of accessories or some kind of floral decor on the characters, which I think is cool. Kuujo's weapon designs also go hard.

With Yuuto Sano I discovered him from his one-shot The Gokuraku District's Third Avenue Incident. I thought it was amazing how good a one-shot can be. The main characters look badass and it's got some scenic-looking panels. He's done two one-shots prior to that. His latest one (The District's Third Avenue Incident) got adapted into a manga.

You read too much battle shounen and Akira Toriyama started a trend of characters that I didn't care for.

Anyway, I'm going to say Yasuhiro Nightow, Masamune Shirow and Tomohiro Shimoguchi.

Shout out to Toru Fujisama and I think that more manga should have been holding the candle to his art.

Half of you young dudes don't even know their names by the way.

Oshimi Shuzou is the only one I've liked more than two series by. Most of his are just decent, but Chi no Wadachi is one of my fave manga and Shino-chan and Aku no Hana are good too. His art is quite basic, but the facial expressions still convey subtle differences in emotions really well.

I always like Q Hayashida's volume notes and she packs a lot of panels onto a page and Katsuhisa Minami's realistic character writing is refreshing, plus he has good taste in cars...not surprised he's like 50 years old. Idk how tf the Liar Game author (Kaitani) comes up with so many smart characters either.

"The f**ker who goes round beating people to a pulp. He thinks it'll never happen to himself. But there's gonna be a day when the f**ker gets f**king beaten to a pulp too. But that day's f**king today and the guy doing the beating is a f**king c**t." - Sang-hoon, Breathless (2009)

Arina Tanemura. Her art always makes me feel nostalgic and takes me back to when I read her manga back in middle and high school. I'm considering in buying the Frozen manga only because Tanemura did the art for it (even though I'm not a huge fan of Frozen).

Her art style is just so iconic.

Can't say for sure who is my favorite mangaka of all time, but my current answer would have to be Usamaru Furuya. I started reading his stuff and am really enjoying them and plan to read through everything that's completed and has a English translation available. (He's got manga like "Where the Boys Are" that I would be interested in reading, but I couldn't find anywhere to read that in English unfortunately.)
