Shigeru has flipped out after seeing Seiko and starts pointing at her accusingly. The other mom kind of freaks out and asks if Seiko pushed Shigeru off the cliff and to tell her what really happened. Sei is hearing all of this, which is slowly angering him to the point that he punches Shigeru's mom in the face to defend his mom. Damn.

Seiichi speaks for his mom while defending her from his auntie's accusations. The manipulation has gone so far that I can imagine Sei's mother using him to hurt someone, instead of doing it herself.

jesus sei annoyed me so much but its not his fault because he was so brainwashed and gaslighted by his mother that we doesnt understand whats right anymore whats real anymore so he sticks up to his mother no matter what

it's actually a thing that a parent can do pretty much anything and their child will always excuse them and love them. that's why it's so hard for children in abusive families to recognize that they're being abused. they would rather be brainwashed and believe that their suffering is normal than face the reality that their parents are hurting them.

@unubore0 that's why a lot of people who were beaten as children will grow up and beat their children too. they would rather keep the abuse cycle going instead of facing the fact that what was done to them was hurtful and that their parents were wrong.
