The first chapter was decent, I like the art style, but I'm not a fan of the over exaggerated faces. It doesn't bother me much though, this series also gave me the Uzumaki/gantz vibes. Need to finish those two series btw.

Overall I like it enough to see what will happen next chapter. I believe this is a monthly magazine, correct?

Kensuke Nishida wrote one of the side stories, I Am a Hero in Nagasaki, is the author of this. You can tell he takes inspiration from Kengo Hanazawa the creator of the original I Am A Hero

At first I thought this is just pessimistic (or probably sociopath) version of Kiseijuu, but it turned into good shit!

It sure has Gantz and Parasyte vibes in it. I can also see resemblance between mc and the cop from Mahou Shoujo of the End.

At first I thought this was going to be a dark slice-of-life humour series.

Then I saw the beautiful policewoman and I thought "her personality don't look comedic or romantic, there must be something else".

Look, if I had this guy's girlfriend, I don't would think that badly of my life.

When I saw the frogs, I thought, "well, this is gonna be a bizarre comedy at least".

Then the guy in the metro transformed into...that, and I knew this is gonna be a crazy ride. This thing is...bizarre. Jojo Bizarre.

The owl is cute though.

the art style feels like its on steroids and I'm in love with it

the MC is trapped in a dilemma so many people are in atm. what to do with their lives. we want to be something more than the average 9-5 guy who gets money like everyone else to then get married have children and die normally. I'm intrigued in seeing how the story will spiral from a police officer able to shoot some kind of beam out of his hand and a flipping talking owl🤣
