| Finally it ended, decent in general, the plot is as simple shounen as it can get. Some good stuff with Belle in the end =/ Overall 6-7/10. Generous 7. |

| The earlier chapters were good, roughly around chapter 30 ish, but I kind of lost interest with how the story goes afterwards (chapter 100 ish sort of bring the direction back on track but it's been an up n down all the way through) even though I had a high motivation to binge this and it took literally a month to do so, what probably carried and kept me reading is the eerieness (excusable or not, whatever) and the art. I thought the end of the chapter is a satisfying epilogue though. |
| after reading a good quantity of kaneshiro's work it is worth to note that the main character never achieve his goal or for what he is fighting for. same with this manga protagonist sets out to revive his dead gf but his motivation changes in the middle of story. a good work though. |

| Damn, that was a major disappointment. Doesn't feel seinen at all, more like shonen with 18+ elements. The initial concept was interesting but it went nowhere. Most of the characters are literally there for fan service giving loads of filler for essentially no reason at all... The whole desires thing is absolutely shallow as hell, shonen tier at best. And don't even get me going I guess author turning into a shonen mangaka is for the good at this point. All his seinen attempts aside of the very first Kamidori kinda ended up pretty disappointing. And the 1st kami only ended up well because it wasn't even the end, heh. Author sure can create interesting concepts but has no idea where to take it from there. Probably no planning in advance at all beyond first ~10% of the story as things keep going progressively worse the longer his series go. |
| The whole topic about desires were badly approached by the characters but made them easier to understand though but still very meh. Technically, this manga does things i like but it only got worse, though it managed to entertain me a bit with the charming gore at the start, nonchalant sexual parts (which i have no complaints btw), amusing sense of humor and some fun bits. However... The open ending felt very unsatisfaying, the action scenes by the ending started to drag and the motifs started to repeat themselves also a bit more than they should. Also some characters, especifically the initial stalker one just drifted away. Some tweaks and it would have been great stuff. Excited to read more manga that is similar to this one, i may find the perfect formula one day. As it is, it is just too flawed, it gets progressively more generic as it goes. It feels lackluster nor satisfaying in any way, as said previously. Again too: I will look for the manga for perfectly give me the type of wackiness and b-movie quality i desire but better than jagaaaan. This one ended up just feeling too safe as well. Essentially, the things people regard as "edgy" on it are the good part, while what makes it sour are the shonen-like tropes, lack of stakes and things as such, ending totally boring, pointless. edit: I read gantz and damm, makes jagan pointless and much worse by comparison. I know the ending of gantz is safe and somewhat generic as well, but the whole content of gantz is way better by a huge margin plus the ending arc, though inferior to the rest, is way less boring and more enjoyable than the whole final arc of jagaan. Again, very boring |

| I liked it. It's honestly way more mature than Gantz (it treats it's female characters way better too, even if they are still a little under developed). The whole thematic fight was cool too, even if I guess it lacks some cohesion (especially in the transition from triple H to SKAT). Cool, honestly. |
