| WTF read this: The lack of color fidelity used in certain versions give many people the impression that Naushika flies around in a miniskirt with a bare butt. This is not the case, she's wearing pants that happen to be roughly the same color as her skin, and the "skirt" is actually the lower part of her coat |

| Thank f*** that this thread exists, and I wasn't the only one really disoriented by Nausicaa's 'flashing'. How am I supposed to distinguish between skin-colour tights and actual skin? I figured Miyazaki was playing some sort of dirty trick. |
| This is actually due to the colour in one US release version not being rendered well enough. The skin-coloured tights aren't the same colour as her skin, but the rendering figured they were 'close enough', hence Nausicaa with no panties. |
