| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So this wasn't a flashback episode. Instead the gang got to meddle into the rocky relationship of a couple and help them enjoy dinner and drinks together again. (g) A couple of thoughts hit me during this episode: 1 - Italians aren't that polite and quiet - everyone is acting too Japanese 2 - The women are wearing too many brightly colored clothes. Black is always the "new black" in Italy, particularly in Rome and to the south. (I think that this is to help the locals recognize the tourists more easily, since tourists always dress more colorful.) 3 - The women in this series aren't wearing low enough necklines. Even in cool months the women in Italy wear low cut blouses and sweaters. It's a great place for a man to "smile and lear". <LOL> |
| This storyline is probably my least favourite in Gente, so I wasn't hugely impressed with this episode. It was nice, it just felt a bit too filler-y given that we're half-way through the series already. |

| Loved this episode. I was pretty impressed by the way this story was told. It was humorous yet romantic and not chessy. Very tasteful. |
| I found it kind of odd how Vito's wife is so accepting of him flirting with other women. Wow... |
| I thought the bit about the wife feeding her husband pasta with broken glass in it was pretty funny and also how Vito pointed out Claudio to give advice to the husband since Claudio was divorced. Overall it was a decent episode. |

| Either that was the most elaborate plan to reel in two more customers or Vito is the man. I really liked this episode and its message about faithfulness and true love. |

| Those flirty Italians :P Pretty interesting episode and take on a married couple. I also liked how everyone played their part to help the relationship to recover. |

| I like how the couple was able to resolve their issues by coming to terms with what's really going on wrong. Also, I give props to Vito's wife, who's super open and able to not get jealous when Vito's charming other women. She shows how she's able to feel secure in their relationship because there's trust between the two. |
