X is undoubtedly one of the best works of the CLAMP! The best will not go away! And I say this like a great fan of the group CLAMP! Very little works have such a mighty history, charismatic characters and an exciting soundtrack! See up to the end!!!! |

| this makes me want to see more, it wasn't very good for a 1st ep but I know it'll get better, so just as Cello said, keep watching.. and yeah, this has got to be one of The Most Underrated Anime, pity. |

| Even though I read the manga, I never gave the anime a chance, so here I am, ready for the ride! OP is really nice, animation too. I'm not getting used to seeing Kamui's brown eyes but well, not everything can be perfect. A good first episode. |
| Pretty good compressing of the beginning, introducing characters in a decent way. 4/5 brianez said: Really, the character designs do look very similar. when the promotional arts were stating to be released for GEASS, I thought about how CLAMP didn't even bother (a less good looking Kamui?) for a supposedly big event series. |
| Idk if I like the main character very much yet but I'm sure once he gets more development into his motivations I might come around. I hope the multiple other characters get enough screentime too so I can enjoy them too. |
| good first ep, although felt like it's gonna have the same issue as the movie in having too many characters to inevitably leave a lot undeveloped, although at least the series will give it more time to develop them. Hopefully it's handled a bit better. |
