| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A very good short. I really liked the story, I most of the time ain't that interested in a Jack and the Beanstalk story but this one was different. The art went great with the characters, especially the ogre. Short, sweet, and to the point. I'm guessing the guy who gave him the bean did so for a reason seeing as how he was with the ogre at the end. |

| Good art but uninteresting version of Jack & the beanstalk: why is the giant described as a villainous man-eater ogre? Enjoyment: 3/5 Score: 5/10 Two points who catched my attention: - the drought leading to the events, - here the mother cuts the tree and kills the giant. Is it something recurrent coming from variations of the oral tale? |

| The giant looked like it came out of a One Piece World. Overall it was enjoyable especially the art. The mother chicken was interestingly funny, the harp wasn't bad too. Guess it ended like in the fairy tale. 6/10. |
