OMG. It's really horrifying what happened to Yuji, she doesn't deserve that. And another aniki died. Damn that Chaka, he deserves to be tortured. And good thing Rock and Revy decided to help the poor girl.
Yukio got fucked up looking at the bruises and her clothing being stripped off at the bowling center, jeez. Looks like Revy and Ginji would strike Chaka and everyone else down and send their asses to the gutter without sparing anyone... I'll stop with the bowling puns.
Rock wants to help Yukio out and confront her too, wanting to know why she would sacrifice a normal life when she had hope and the opportunity to do so, to enter the criminal underworld life and put herself in danger like this, despite being there in Japan in the first place due to Balalaika needing a translator. Revy's changed quite a bit, knowing that she's just there to be Rock's bodyguard and he's technically the boss in this situation so she'd help him out with whatever decision he makes. Pretty nice development there, again people have to consider that Rock's rubbed off on her personality a bit given how long they've known each other and how she's exposed to someone who's come from an entirely different background for a long time. Before, she was surrounded by killers like her so she never changed but now, there is some progression there and she is willing to help out.
Now this was a great episode, I was scared that they would have the student become some great mafia boss lol. Can't wait to see those guys get the shit kicked outta them
The war between the Yakuza and Hotel Moscow begins. Interesting insight into Balalaika and her organization, how the war in Afghanistan and the destruction of the Soviet Union affected them and pushed them into the criminal underground. We also get a clash between older, more honorable (relatively speaking) yakuza and the younger, more scumbag nihilistic kind only loyal to money.
This is the third slow episode in a row, but it's the one I've liked the most in the current arc so far.
It finally seems like there will be more craziness in the next one.
Seeing Revy so quiet lately has been interesting... But strange.
I love watching those killing machines in motion.
